Eyewitnesses are generally unreliable and her look isn't all that unique too, there's a lot of middle aged women with long brown hair in Canada. I'd believe it more if it was someone that actually knew her but that's unlikely.

As I said earlier his dedication to not letting anyone know kids exist seems to be for all the wrong, creepy reasons. I’d almost wonder if he managed to get Elora to go along with his “I can do home birth thanks to monkey brain research” and then tried to avoid the kids getting birth certificates or some weirdness to keep them off the govt’s radar.

100% could not walk the bridge. Even if you happened to sneak across the gates, there's cameras and the RCMP would come collect you and probably find a couple things to charge you with.
Élora, on the other hand, was isolated, and had nobody in her life who cared about her enough to notice that she had gone missing at all. And how many people watched JFG's original podcast episode about her leaving who were critical enough of him to think that maybe he'd killed her? It was just another, "Women—amirite, guys?" moment. That nobody knew they had kids made her leaving seem even less consequential.
I only vaguely followed JF and I wasn't aware he even had kids (if they're even his) until after this thread got featured. There's keeping your personal life offline, but it's super weird to not even mention them in passing... but when you chum around with people like warski, Ralph and black Pidgeon speaks (to his meth dealer) I sort of don't blame him. He doesn't want the cops involved, so he spends the next two days disposing of her body and cleaning up all the evidence. A 145-lb dead human is extremely unwieldy and hard to move unassisted; his remarks about the fridge make me think he cleared it out in order to hold dismembered parts until he could dispose of them far from home (given that it was mid-June and likely warm). I think those parts ended up in multiple dump sites.
If JF was actually smart he'd "acquire" a boat and a lobster trap or two and put what was left of Elora in that, they never would have found her and the pinchy sea roaches would have left nothing but dental fillings after a week or two but we all know he's retarded so he probably left her bits in a wooded area or buried in a farmer's field. If she was killed back in June, that would have been only a month off from when potatoes got harvested so I'm sure she would have got tilled up and they would have noticed body parts in the farm equipment. This leaves only the parents not reporting her now missing until now. Ok then that leaves up the free spirit idea about her in the air. But maybe her parents didn't care about her and it was part of the why she was this way freespirited. But it doesn't lend any credibility to JF's story about dropping her off at a gas station and everybody knows within a month or so that photage, such credeebull evidence is wiped.
How do we know this? Has Elora's parents came out with a statement. For all we know JF's been faking texts for months to them.
Also, regarding the latest MATI, I fully agree with Jersh's take that this is going to be a huge international story. Frankly, I'm dumbfounded it isn't all over the media already. It has everything. It's nigh the perfect "true crime" story.

Is there a reason his home hasn't been searched yet? I'm pretty ignorant when it comes to Canadian law so I'm sure there are different procedures in place for cases like this. However it feels like if he was in the USA his house would have been scoured over twice over by now and him sitting in county or at his parents house if bail could be posted. Maybe the RCMP are the slow and methodical types, trying to get him to crack on his own? Yet the Robert Pickton and Paul Bernardo cases don't really inspire confidence.
All it takes is a couple of hours for a judge to sign off on a warrant through the week. If they suspect him of anything they could get a warrant. Hell with the new gotta register your podcast law, they could probably turn his shit upside down over that.
