2023 Israel-Palestine Armed Conflict

Interesting little thing I just discovered while looking at FR24. Apparently airplanes leaving Tel Aviv only turn on their transponders once they are clear of the airport. I wonder how the pilots must feel flying in and out of that area.

Fun fact.
The spokesman for IDF (Jonathan Conricus) is half swede (I think he have a swedish dad) and grow up in Sweden until he was a teen.
So in Swedish media when he is interview, he has a strong regional accent (scanian).

Do we know when IDF is planning to swoop in on the ground and rock their shit? It’s weird to me that they haven’t moved in yet, like from a PR standpoint. I’d assume they have to do it soonish because we’re already like a week out from the savage Hamas terror attacks that won them the global sympathy and support they needed to finally blow these fucks to oblivion. If they give it much more time and let the news spend days just talking about the current suffering of gazans who are displaced/killed/wounded/etc, that crisis will become the focus and further brutality will probably lose public support. You’d think they’d want to strike when the iron’s hot and every above-chimpanzee-IQ person is basically on their side.

Then again, it’s also possible that they literally don’t give a fuck no matter what and are gonna get their retribution regardless of what the rest of the world says about it, so timing might not even be relevant to them.

Question that I’m sure has a different answer depending on who you ask…
Why is it that some people when talking about this conflict say dead “Jews” instead of dead “Israelis” or “civilians”.. especially when Hamas wasn’t particular about who they were mowing down when this all started.. I keep seeing people say this is an attack on Jewish people where as far as I can tell this isn’t about religion at all but a clash of two different groups of people who probably weren’t really meant to live together.
I feel like XYZ being claimed as “antisemitic” gets used as often as “racist” or “transphobic” when I often don't see it that way. It’s like the term has kind of been overused when I can’t take it seriously.
If I’m missing something please fill me in.

How about pit bulls? I'd say pit bulls are an accurate comparison to Muslims, they're dangerous, vicious, unpredictable, an active threat to children and can only be reasoned with by a bullet.

Since we're on the subject, it's easy to forget that judging the Ottomans based off of the last years of their decline wouldn't be a fair representation of true Islamic rule in all its brutal gory glory. Even Kareem Abdul Jabar can't figure out what their real history is and why African Muslims will always be subservient to the Arab ones. there is none, it all basically just exists for propaganda purposes.
"war crimes" is what the defeated are convicted of by the victorious powers. it's a formal, legalistic form of 'might makes right', nothing more.
some examples from history:
>german leaders convicted of crimes against humanity for various atrocities, meanwhile similar acts by soviet leaders were completely ignored
>japanese convicted of various war crimes in china, meanwhile american nuclear bombings and firebombing of tokyo were completely ignored
>both serb and croat leaders convicted of war crimes in bosnia, meanwhile nato strikes on belgrade were completely ignored
