Ralph would probably be living better in an American prison than he's doing in his favela. Three meals a day, free healthcare, regular social interaction, and a chance to get clean.

If Ralph winds up in a Mexican prison than we'd be lucky to get a mugshot and that's it; no one will ever hear from Ralph again.

That last one is especially tough considering all of his "close" friends are substance abusers. As for the Trazodone, we've seen Ralph's experiences with Ambien. While they're not one in the same (Ambien being a much stronger sedative), I don't know if that would be enough for Ralph who's claimed to stay awake for 36+ hours at a time "for fun".

I was just thinking that was his typical lie smokescreen that he uses to manipulate his paypigs. Instead of saying "I took too many pills and booze and almost died", telling them it was "a crazy story" is enough to not embarrass himself. I think given where he is he could get a job as a bartender at some shitty tourist trap margarita bar. Im pretty sure employment standards in Mexico aren’t as high as here and he at least speaks english which some owner may see as an asset.

Wal-Mart also does background checks and not only is Ralph a felon his felony was a violent one so he would almost certainly get turned down. They do not hire people with violent or theft related felonies. So he has zero work experience, a totally empty resume and was charged with a violent felony. He is basically unhirable.
