I missed the tags so I'm late to the party. Here are some updated SVGs for Balldo with the "correct" green (please check). Though it should be possible to change the color in code per theme, I think.

I attached PDF versions (for AI, Inkscape, etc) for your convenience in a ZIP file so that the stroke (line) width can still be adjusted to match the current iconset. They'll need to be reexported as SVGs. When I looked at the current set looks like is part of an SVG font, so it wasn't straight forward with the time I have to do a direct match...

Edit: Oops. Forgot to include filled versions. I uploaded the repacked ZIP (it's renamed)

I like the two with the L in it.
How about adding the L to the third set? I made the Balldo fatter because other icons are all square-ish.

I added the internal shadow/"L" on the big fat balldo.

**EDIT** After a thought, I considered the recognizability at a glance so made an additional change to compare. It kept bugging me. Initially the "L" is from the thickness of the balldo showing through its little peekaboo. Now the negative space shows the back peekaboo instead of that thickness (represented now simply by the negative stroke now). Tell me if you think it is better. I figured I'd add it for comparison. I just didn't want it to get mixed in with missiles.

I think either's great, but the one on the left looks more like an L for Loser

The transition seemed to go very smoothly. Well done.

One minor thing though: I am disappointed this re-modeled subforum did not adopt the Balldo icon like @Null was contemplating earlier. Instead, we get some generic pokeball lookin Death Star thingamajig.

IMO, there's just something that feels "right" about Weeb Wars turning into Grift Wars and adopting the Balldo as its symbol.

I'd like to ask for a thread along the lines of "Whatever happened to" for old culture warriors, SJEWS/anti-SJEWS, MGTOWers, feministas, etc, that had a following back in the day BT (Before Trump), when YT was more open than it is today.

Would people (besides me) enjoy that? Is reminiscing gay AF (think Bruce Springsteen's song "Glory Days")? Is there enough info out there to answer "where are they now"? Is there such a thread that I've missed?

I think it's fine to open one and prefix it with "off-topic", which can be utilised if Eric July ever goes off the far end and becomes a lolcow himself. This will happen if he doesn't keep his ego in check. So far, I don't think he's a lolcow, there's nothing funny about him, or his product.

The thread can include Null's review.

On the flip side however, you know. Eric will have to do something so outrageous to get a proper thread.

Don't know if this is the place for it, but concept of the Grift Wars—which is by no means new—always makes me think about 1984 and what about it was truly prophetic. Lots of people know the line "If you want a picture of the future, imagine a boot stamping on a human face forever," but most people seem to think that they're the face when in fact they are the boot.

You revel in the evil and antrocities of the enemy, whilst mechanically dismissing those attributed to your own side as obvious fascist/communist propaganda. You don't need to think or even consider the nature of what is being discussed, so long as you can console yourself with the knowledge that your enemy is simulteneously stupid, and evil (it must be both) then you are already smuggly assured of your intellectual and moral superiority and the actual talking point of the moment is irrelevant.
