I had peers who were sexually active with similarily-aged teens. I didn't know anyone that was "in relationships" with adult men. Pretty sure everyone in my social circle would've thought that shit was nasty and probably called the cops.

If that shit was normalized where you grew up, congrats! You grew up somewhere adult men openly grooming and abusing minor girls wasn't treated like it should be (i.e. as child molestation and a crime). Just because it was normalized doesn't make it ok to fuck kids.

I can 100% claim with all seriousness that I have seen minor girls aggressively seduce adult men who did not groom them. The thing is, I still expect a grown adult male to be more responsible than a teenage girl, and I think we should harshly, harshly judge any man who doesn't have the decency and agency and personal self-control to say "No thank you, you're way too young for me".

Yeah teens do stupid shit they don't understand, which is why the only reaction an adult man should have to a teen girl coming onto him is to tell her she's a kid and that isn't appropriate (and tell her parents if she won't stop). Adults who take it as a cue to diddle teen girls are child molesters, simple as.

I also wouldnt be surprised if a good chunk of girls trying to get sexual attention from adults have previously been groomed our molested. Acting out sexually is a common effect of CSA.

I'm not even putting it all down to 'dumb teenage shit, she has no personal agency, she doesn't understand', some of the girls I'm specifically thinking of were legitimately predatory, they had hard lives and grew up very, very fast and they knew exactly what they were doing.

I still hold adults to the very reasonable expectation that they should not fuck young teenagers.
