He doesn't have enough self-reflection to recognize that PPP and Andy DID protect him for like a year. As far as I'm aware, they didn't cover the Mandy stream, they didn't cover Ricardo and Romaine, they didn't cover him yelling that he'd rather be seeing prostitutes than covering trials. I still don't know if I believe Andy's story (the passed out bit still screws with my head), but it's been speculated for a long time now that something may have went on between them. What Nick just said now might trigger Andy to talk about it some more.
