We knew it already but this just further cements how retarded DSP is at troubleshooting. Years of having these internet problems and it sounds like not once has he ever gone into his router gateway, or he would've caught these things sooner himself.

Okay so I went through the entire Godamn thread, saved all the receipts, did a quick look through and then a bit of research to verify. From what I can tell everything looks pretty legit.

On one hand, this is hilarious. On the other I feel kinda bad for Phil. Like yeah, he’s a piece of shit and all but this is also the one in a million time that someone’s paranoid delusion turned out to be real.

I’m actually kind of amazed.

The DSP stuff is always some of the most unhinged shit I've ever seen. Dude plays video games badly, and begs money. I never did get all the hate for him, but my god do people hate this dude.

I think most of us are here because he is smug, self important, and doesn't see his flaws. Most of us just like seeing his career circle down the drain as he goes more insane from his isolation. We don't want to do anything more than laugh and discuss the craziness.

What’s to even feel bad about at this point genuinely? What ultimately ended up as a minor annoyance resulted in:

1.) Phil almost assuredly getting this money back
2.) Phil making more money from sympathy bucks than he would’ve normally made today
3.) A new villain to endlessly either blame or invoke sympathy over
4.) Was likely given additional compensation for his trouble

Like this legitimately is the equivalent of speed bump, Phil basically had to deal with customer service for a few days and he unquestionably came out better financially and in the eyes of his fans after this

If you want to feel bad for Phil something to genuinely feel bad for him about is when he lost his twitch partnership(likely because of how much trolls reported him for every little thing) that was something that affected his income and family way more than this one dude at Comcast ever could

Shit eh? I figured they would have been back in the office by now.

I have a buddy that works collections for them and he games on his TV and console while on the clock. Bro makes wild commission on top of a cushy base rate.

From what he's said they don't even do in person training anymore either. They're saving $ by not leasing square footage for the call centers, all the in person benefits were dropped too like company lunches and gym and they instead give a flat stipend for their employees' bills and other programs. They still have in person for some of their IT staff and specialized shit but they're able to utilize smaller office spaces for them.

DSP is smart enough to stage little things to throw off detractors. I actually believe him about this comcast issue and I think its great. I know kiwi policy is not to engage the cows but I sure as hell can laugh at it when someone does engage a cow.

The bad thing is comcast will most likely give him a discount for his hassle and put his account in the protected system which will require a tier 2 specialist or management to access it. Same shit they do for call centers for Verizon when someone famous has an account.

There is still door dash, I wonder how long before a door dash phone worker looks up Phils information or a door dasher recognizes Phils address and serves him up a turd sandwich . Phil seems to try and ignore his detractors no matter how much they annoy him but the second it hits his wallet he is all up in arms.
