So, just watched that section, and some of the video, and yeah, Koby pretty much said it all.

This isn't a bad idea for a new show, since Bob seemed to be less... himself when he was just talking about a movie that exists, rather than reviewing it because for reviews he feels the need to bring in his "I'm so much smarter than you" brand of narcissism and blue curtain analysis. In these types of videos he actually talks about the movie. Or more just shows it to you, since now he needs to fill in more time.

But there are two problems with his idea: One, a new channel would be a fucking terrible idea. He doesn't even get a quarter of his subscribers to watch his videos, how the hell would a new channel work? He's seen what Second Wind has done and forgets that Yahtzee still had an audience. Bob on the other hand would do worse than the new Rooster Teeth channels, considering he gets less than a quarter of his subscribers to watch his videos on a good day.

The second is, it's pretty much too late. His career is dead, his reputation is dog shit, and his value is in the dirt. He could quit his career, go out and get a job flipping burgers, and make more money. If he had a redemption arc? Then he might make it, but in order to redeem yourself, you need to admit you were wrong. All Bob can admit is that he's gotten older and as such isn't as in touch with the youths these days.

The money came from shell companies the Bidens established to launder money. The laundered money was bribes to influence Joe Biden during his vice presidential days. That the bribe money was spent on hookers and blow is just the cherry atop a very sordid ice cream.

Nope, didn't happen. Because that would mean Biden was bad, and only Republicans can be that.

Finally the big announcement is his new show, or channel? He wasn't clear on whether he was going to start a group of new channels to talk about politics (he should really rethink that unless he wants to become more of a meme than he already is) and stuff other than what's on his main channel. "I'd love to get three times the money!" says Bob. Anyway, whatever, he's starting a new show called "This is a movie that exists." Delightful.

The announcement is that he's starting a new show, but he's also heavily considering starting two new channels so he can triple his income, but only if you tell him to do so in the comments. Most likely he has no interest in ever listening to fans.

I'm reminded of the time Andrew Dobson put up a poll, asking people if they'd donate to his patreon and if so, how much. Everyone pretty much said they wouldn't and one dude pointed out that Dobson needed to work on his output first before he could expect money for it. Dobson threw a fit and did the patreon anyway, then got pissed that he made barely anything on it. Bob I can see doing something similar. The comments will tell him something he doesn't want to hear, and he'll reveal he's doing it anyway.
