One of Deni's BFFs lives in Merida. That friend has been begging Deni to move to Merida and get out of Guerrero State for her safety. That friend has a boyfriend and a lot of other friends in Merida. There's a very real chance that Deni went to the cops, Faith was trying hard to talk her into it. Even if she didn't, she's going to fill her friends in for sure. There's no way this doesn't end with Gunt getting physically confronted over his actions unless he runs away and is successful in running away. Now, whether that's him getting arrested over a warrant issued out of CDMX, one of Deni's friend's boyfriends beating the shit out of him, or worse, SOMETHING is going to come of this unless Gunt gets out.
