Why would they need to? At this point, Biden is blowing up the economy which hurts China, and Trump will tariff China which hurts China. To them, its a damned if we do, damned if we don't proposition. So better to stay out of it and try to use it to claim how righteous you are.

Thats the whole point. i don't think I saw anyone here actually say the real purpose of that bill. It is to get a foot in the door, canonize a "limited" amount of migration that will mollify the right. And which they can then slowly insert more and more exceptions to.

The bill is -meant- to be a boil the frog situation.

Ha. Ha. Ha. Called it. Kamala was picked for a set of highly specific characteristics. The man here touches on the superficial ones but immediately raises the question of "Why not then replace her with someone else who is black and female".

And now some notes on this because things have changed in interesting ways.

First, 1 and 2 obviously are locked in. They absolutely cannot change those criteria ever at this point. They are the most superficially obvious and the most meat on the bone for their fracturing base.
Second, 4 is now out entirely but 3 is absolutely vital. Anyone with Presidential ambitions sees blood in the water and wouldn't want to shackle themselves to this Admin, but on the other side the admin is so weak that its controllers need someone utterly pathetically weak from a political standing point.
Third, finally, and most damningly... 5 and 6 are now opposed to eachother. Yet, both remain required. Biden is mush so whoever gets in has to fully accept that, yet they also have had so many issues that whoever gets brought in has to be the squeakiest clean bastard. There is absolutely no way you can get both at this point.

At this point, Kamala herself doesn't fit their own criteria. Yet, with no replacement, they are just stuck with Anti-Charisma Incarnate herself.

Quinnipiac is trash. They have consistently the worst Democrat lean of polls from 2016-2020. Some of their absolute bangers from 2020 were Biden +4 in OH, Biden +5 in FL, Biden +11 in the general. Take what they give you and add +6 to the Republican side and you're closer to reality.

It's actually hilarious how terrible PR-wise the gay white house staffers have been. Leaking info, compromising security just to hook up, fucking in government buildings and then recording it.
It's more than an actual homophobe could have ever imagined.
