One thing a good commander, at any level needs, is the ability to view combat emotionlessly and mathematically. Zelensky can not do this. I think the comparison to Hitler is a good one. Ukraine is a fascist state, which I say completely neutrally, as basically every government that has its roots in ideology in 20th century is utterly murderous. I am not describing Ukraine as Fascist as an insult, simply a description of fact. But it means Ukraine has certain kinds of issues.

That being said Putin controls the Russian State and so he is responsible for any crimes that are committed within Russia. This is true, however this is partly because Zelensky doesn't see his job as taking care of the political situation in order to let the Military to do its job. This type of thing also happened to Austrian Painter. He considered the Propaganda war more important than the actual war.
My point is less Putin deliberately made this happen and more that this is his system. I think if you are going to execute someone you should do it in an extremely public and deliberate manner and not in a shadowy way. I think Ukraine will likely fall within 6 months or maybe a bit less. If Ukraine manages to get access to the Ukrainian migrants who left for Europe the war will continue for much longer. You never know though all kinds of weird things happen. The US could lose interest or it could transfer everything.
