Russian Special Military Operation in the Ukraine - Mark IV: The Partitioning of Discussion

They were never getting Crimea back anyway.
At first I thought that it was a bit fucked up of Putin to jail and assassinate a political opponent, but after having seen that picture, I can understand why it had to be done. Death to any man who does that faggot heart thing with their hands.

Why do you, and a lot of others, indulge the fiction that Kiev is making decisions about this or anything else in the Ukraine? It's the US, and that's why Nuland came to straighten everyone out a couple of weeks ago.

No one here hopes to defeat Russia, just weaken it enough to get a toehold and begin the Rus version of Maidan.
except for the fact that everyone after putin wants to start dropin fucking nukes. west mongos know this, right?

There were airstrikes recently. It seems like Russia has periodic Airstrikes every Tuesday and whenever there is an opportunity Russia conducts airstrikes. There were some yesterday as well.

Nawalny is supposed to be dead. This is shaping up to be a disastrous week for the West.
I don't think he actually matters very much.
I don't think he's weighing things like you describe. He's acting like commanders often do when they are losing wars. The thinking is mostly, "We've lost so much ground - maybe if we just fight more desperately, refuse to surrender, bite and claw for every inch, we'll stop losing!"
One thing a good commander, at any level needs, is the ability to view combat emotionlessly and mathematically. Zelensky can not do this. I think the comparison to Hitler is a good one. Ukraine is a fascist state, which I say completely neutrally, as basically every government that has its roots in ideology in 20th century is utterly murderous. I am not describing Ukraine as Fascist as an insult, simply a description of fact. But it means Ukraine has certain kinds of issues.
I wonder who western media will pivot to as the "rightful president of Russia" now. If I proclaimed myself anti-Putin, do you think as a brave woman candidate of colour I would stand a chance? I can hush about my plans for the Ukraine (and the other ex-Soviet republics) until they've actually installed me.
You'd have to watch Rick and Morty though. Are you ready to make that sacrifice?

assassinate a political opponent
I've heard that it is likely that Putin didn't order this one. Nalvany is more popular in the west than in Russia. He represents no threat. RWA seems to think it was due to other prisoners. That being said Putin controls the Russian State and so he is responsible for any crimes that are committed within Russia. If it is true Putin didn't want him killed, Putin should have taken better care.

Gonna go to bat just a bit for Zylynskyyiyy here: the proxy nature of the war hamstrings normal military analysis by decoupling tactics and strategy. Ukraine needs to look like its winning (or at least has a chance) in order to stay in the war at all, which leads to perverse decision making like "not one step backwards" in places like Bahkmut and Adiivka.

Like, imagine if WW2 Germany had somehow become dependent on Spain for its survival, so everything Hitler and Co did had to be filtered through what impressed Franco. Only Franco in this case is a senile grandpa with a bad touch and a bunch of theater kids, none of whom have any real grasp of how military campaigns work. Shit would have been a mess.

meh if they wanted him dead he would have been dead long time ago . Keeping him alive and in prison keeps him in the news cycle longer, he could have fallen dead by insulin overdose, air bubbles and various other ways the reality is the russian prisons are shit and grind people down fast . He croaked like crp croaked untreated issues . Everything that came out sounded like something got off in his body and that was that , it happens a lot to eastern european men especially if they are middle aged , they tend to fall apart suddenly and fast look at russian male life expectancy is lower than indias . Look at least he didnt went through needless medical interventions that some family do and keep him alive more than he supposed to , he died fast and easy. May he rest in peace.

On the other hand question for those who follow these war stuff and have good knowledge of war history . Do you think ukraine will finnaly fall this year or this drawn out bleeding will continue?

Based Tucker Carlson will tell the truth quite often. This makes me sad that the Interview was not more interesting.

This is true, however this is partly because Zelensky doesn't see his job as taking care of the political situation in order to let the Military to do its job. This type of thing also happened to Austrian Painter. He considered the Propaganda war more important than the actual war.

There are good reasons to care about the propaganda war, but you must make good decisions on the battlefield or it won't matter.

the russian prisons are shit and grind people down fast .
My point is less Putin deliberately made this happen and more that this is his system. I think if you are going to execute someone you should do it in an extremely public and deliberate manner and not in a shadowy way. This event doesn't really change my opinion of Putin as I have always thought Russia needs the ability to execute people.
n the other hand question for those who follow these war stuff and have good knowledge of war history . Do you think ukraine will finnaly fall this year or this drawn out bleeding will continue?
I think Ukraine will likely fall within 6 months or maybe a bit less. If Ukraine manages to get access to the Ukrainian migrants who left for Europe the war will continue for much longer. You never know though all kinds of weird things happen. The US could lose interest or it could transfer everything.

If you would like to see my reasoning you can read my old post here:
Belogorovka was taken without a fight. The Ukrainians abandoned it. I said previously that Ukraine may have entered a crisis. I can now say that the Ukrainian army is definitely experiencing a crisis. These holes in the front lines keep forming. Once or twice in a couple of days could be a coincidence but several times in several different positions leaves little doubt. My reasoning hinges on the fact that as the problem gets worse Ukraine takes more and more losses.
