I basically concur with this. The only thing to note is that it turned out that he had extremely similar yellow bruising about three weeks ago that went away, and while it was in the same location on his face, it looked like a slightly different shape as well. The bruising on Nick's face this week appeared to stretch more into near where his eye is.

In other words if it is just a bruise, whatever is injuring him is happening repeatedly in almost the exact same way and damaging the exact same area of his face.

I really don't know who he even appeals to at this point? He's manufactured this identity crisis over the last year that it's shifted into an actual identity crisis for his channel and for the people who want to watch him, because he doesn't do the law coverage that got him popular, and he's abandoned the tradcon image, but it's not like he's trying to branch out into other grifting spheres. He's in that same niche that Dax is in of lolbertarian coomers who don't have any real politics or principles and only exist to be as hedonistic as possible, and that naturally has a limited appeal.
