What makes this funny is that the title "On and On We Go" suggests his frustration with grossing $3700 a day in super chats and foreshadows his eventual ragequit of the trial.

When the Murdaugh trial fades into view in your comparison data the YoY change won't look quite that bad.

Looking at the data it's really obvious that the trial streams are probably the only way for him to salvage his channel, but he'll never do it. Nick brought up how he wouldn't care if his streams did bad relative to other trial streams, which means he's unwilling to do them because as long as he doesn't do them he can pretend that he's still the top trial streamer who merely no longer does trials.

I assumed the worst day was Kay discovering something that made her flip out and asked Nick to sleep in the guest room. Maybe visits to prostitutes, maybe sexting with some wine moms, maybe flat out affair. Something of the “straw that broke the camel’s back” nature.

It was more of a Worst Month since he said that two days a month a part were the worst days of his life.

Because we're talking about the "worst day" yet again, I wanted to flag a tidbit I found some time ago so as to inject some additional information.

I found it a while ago and forgot about it, but the extra context provided by stream clips in May and June suggest that it might have some relevance in piecing together the personal problems Nick was discussing during that time period, and some other things, like his expressed willingness to move out of Minnesota.

To make this as easy as possible to follow, I organized my writeup chronologically.

In the first clip embedded in the spoiler below Nick says "the past two weeks and a couple days have been the most trying time in my entire life."

In the second clip Nick says "I mentioned two weeks ago and a couple days was a real, real rough spot," and adds that it was "the hardest day of my entire life".

Worst Day II was sometime around July 2 or 3.

In his recent LOCALS stream he vaguely hinted that it is something in his marriage relationship.

It goes from being a bad day, to a bad month, and then all the way down to just a bad minute. You can find my breakdown of the timeline and Nick's subsequent additions/revisions here with more detail and clips. A brief summary:

May 30th 2022: Nick says that something happened but "everything is fine".

June 10th, 2022: Things are worse, but Nick appreciates Kayla's support.

June 13th, 2022: Nick reveals that he is going through the most trying time of his life. It involves friends, family, extended family, and God and give a timeline that places his woes around Memorial Day weekend (when something happened, but everything was fine).

July 4th, 2022: The new worst day is now July 2nd (or 3rd) since the recording was done late on July 4th and Nick's idea of yesterday may be relative. Nick says that he is "struggling y'all" and no walk is perfect. The last month has "the hardest days of all of it" (whatever "it" is).

October 12th, 2023: Nick gets a superchat about suicide and Nick responds by saying that he doesn't understand it. Though he never considered harming himself, Nick thought to himself that he would be okay with dying for a "transient minute". Then he was like "whooooah" because it was so "fucking dark". Then he was "baffled" that people have to deal with this all the time. The whole thing seems to undermine what he was going though in the summer of 2022, but Nick is also trying to show off how grounded and wise he is.

For all Nick's talking about his suffering in front of his audience, he was very guarded about specifics the whole time. That said, Nick definitely relaxed in other areas like asking Mandy (aka Daniel) to come to Anime Matsuri (where Nick and Kayla would have MDMA fueled sex) so he could sign Mandy's tits.

Needless to say, Nick responds poorly to stress and his solutions tend to only create more problems. A source for security for Nick during that time was his professional success counter-balancing his personal struggle(s).

Nick is now losing on all fronts and is trying to do anything to numb the pain by abusing substances and distracting himself with coom while he avoids streaming to a dwindling audience and a few ex-fans and loses his credibility with other streamers (a new stressor).
