Human nature is creating brand new accounts for the sole purpose of rating Hitler's posts "dumb" so that he can't obviously see that it's you doing it, which he may report to me as being a potential sock account so I have to actually investigate this.

Then make a group for "doesn't get to see his sticker notifications" and put the fucking sticker obsessors in there. You seem to have groups for almost all other disruptive behaviors, now you've identified another one that warrants targeted restrictions. Instead you dumped the whole user table into that group.

Edit: and if they're really that bad, have the group hide the main Reactions profile tab too

If we are solely talking about the notifications issue, the watched thread wall gives me no indication of many posts were made since I left. I follow 30+ threads, I am not going to open all 30 of them to see if there has been only 1 post since I left or 10+. If you're going to do away with the sticker notifications at least make the watched threads page more intuitive with some kinda of post counter so I can see which ones are busier than others as the current notifications is useless since the sticker method is gone.

Removing stickers is the perfect way for a group of ideologues to hijack the site and turn it into some shit like Something Awful.

This is not an idle hypothetical. The "bomb threat" that got Cloudflare to kick KF off was immediately negrated during the 13 minutes it stayed up. The poster realized it was a bad joke and deleted it before mods got to it.

Stickers and sticker notifications aren't the only feedback mechanism, but they're a very real, effective combination.
