The real problem is Phil doesn't understand that he is one of the only YouTubers that isn't paid by Google through adsense where his funds aren't as affected by inflation. When he begs his viewers because of inflation and his shitty choice of house/state/wife, he's ALSO asking people that have the same problems.

Therefore, if inflation devalues his cash by 7%, he shouldn't be shocked to be actually down 14% as his sources are hit by the same issues.
