It's essentially the ff15 event but with 16 loot and no fate grind, slightly less arse to get as you are awarded Clive's armor, mount and pet on finishing the quest and the only portion that requires MGP is the fairly hefty collection of orchestrion rolls at 20k a pop.
Yoshi P himself (sorry, the minstrel) pleads you to please buy ff16 no less than 3 times during it which I found quite amusing.
That and variety of event exclusive loot aside, it's quite barebones as most 14 events are, don't expect it to deviate from the 20 minutes of questing formula.

I did an oopsie and locked myself into Lancetfish jail. You need to catch another boss fish twice for the Intuition, and I got one, with the Lancet's next window being 22 hours from the last one. So, gonna do some real life dailies; because I can't leave the zone or do roulette without losing the progress to Intuition.
That aside, finished up Stormblood fish and nabbed Ealad Skaan; so uh, not entirely all shit.

Back on that grind again. TOP clear before Dawntrail seems possible. Luckily you can run most of it in a simulator.
P1 is the meanest phase 1 they've ever made. You basically need to be very careful with all of your movement and need to stay awake cause there's so much flexing you'll need to do based on tower positions, tether soak safe zones, and 1/2/3/4 in line. So many pulls wipe here.
P2 has possibly the hardest mechanic in the game with Party Synergy. Running the sim helps a lot for consistency but my god, it's a tricky one. A lot of flexing again with playstation symbols, mid/far glitch, and potential adjusts. Limitless synergy afterwards is easy tho (funny that the preferred strat is to stack 3 flares atop eachother in mid and just tank the damage tho lol).
P3 is easier than it looks, but unfortunately you can't sim Hello World with bots. The thing that makes it look scary is the amount of fucking debuffs they have. There's like 15-20 different debuffs for this mechanic alone but you don't really need to look at them. It's just a case of marked players soaking the wormholes and sticking far or near based on if they have defamation, the red/green tethers going to the side with the defamations, and the blue tether going to the side with the non-defamation and resolving their stack with the players soaking wormholes. After that, you pass rot and pop tethers without letting vulns overlap. You do that four times (meaning you actually practice every responsibility in the mech) and then you're done.

Not sure if this is the correct thread, but I've got some old autism I've saved from a FF RP server that you may find entertaining. Naturally it's a bunch of effeminate drama and troon nonsense. Some have context missing; unfortunately the server's venting channel auto-deletes and I can't always catch everything in time.
Some is crazy, some is benign, but it's all autistic as shit. I don't know how alot of these people function.

I enjoyed it a lot. I like the "dodge and counter attack" mechanic, and I was happy to learn that you can use the dodge mechanic to avoid
all of FF16's Ifrit's AoE attacks, not just the ones the game tells you to, so I scored a bunch of free counter attacks.
The wolf mount has some fantastic music, I really enjoy it.

Imagine spending a decade+ on trying to convince SE to bring XIV to Xbox so you finally have a serious MMO on your platform to compete with Sony (after bribing Sega to bring PSO2 to the west only for them to fuck it up), and your retarded corpo "minimize effort, maximize profits" automoderation completely ruins the experience.
Also, you can't just buy your sub normally on Xbox. You have to buy FFXIV coins from the Microsoft store (at a markup) which is what allows you to actually pay your sub. And it also requires you to have gamepass. It's unironically cheaper in the long-term for Xbox players to pick up a Windows license for cheap so they can just use a normal credit card on the mogstation.
It's not easy to make Sony look competent and yet here we are.
