I'm honestly impressed with my Ruby Dragon story. Get plenty of misses for over a month, one window happens, next one is at like 5AM my time, nope, have work in the morning, skipping that one. Wake up to piss at about 5:40 in the morning, look at the fish timer, window literally opens in 3 minutes and the Ku'er window is already going. Figure why not, log in, get there just in time for the window to open, literal 2 mooches later with no prep and I land the Ruby Dragon. Went back to my main Aetheryte and went back to sleep content.

I wish the game had some kind of reagent inventory in general. There are a million different materials and you could need any one of them at any moment. It's just such a pain in the ass that you can only use what's in your personal bag. Anything in the saddle or on retainer means playing inventory shuffle to get what you need. And I don't want to hear the excuse of "muh server space" when they're the ones who keep bloating the game and still manage to create entire inventory systems for specific side activities. Maybe they need to be a little smarter about how they store their data instead of saving the full data set of each instance of the item.

It’s good, but I do have some issues. For one I think find the flame should’ve been played for the Ifrit fight instead of to sail forbidden seas, and when find the flame does play, it seems badly edited. Not sure how to explain it but those who have played the crossover might know what I mean. Also it was surprisingly short for the time it took for it to come out, but I haven’t played other crossover events, so I don’t know the general length.

Clive’s armor looks sick though on my WoL, so I know that’ll be my glamor of choice.
 
I wish that Jill’s outfit was also available for the female characters but we can’t have it all. They do get points for not just making Clive’s armor one piece though.

Yeah, that song got absolutely mangled, because they took a 3 minute song and cut it down to 45 seconds, so all the instrumental sections between verses was cut, which makes it super jarring.

The FF15 event was a little longer dialogue-wise and the fight was a bit more involved, but still same general ballpark. I don't know what people were expecting length-wise from this but I'm glad it didn't overstay its welcome.

Most of the other FF crossover events were FATE-based iirc.

I think it was ready for a while but we were in the period of the year where events are practically back to back for a few months. That and I'd bet they had some struggles getting the dodge ability to work properly with the combat system.
 
When does the event end? I've been trying to hop back on to FFXIV, but my time's been short on my end.
 
I did a couple S rank hunts yesterday and people have gotten so fucking bitchy. Here’s a clue. The people you’re whining at in shout chat aren’t going to stop doing what they’re doing because you’re being an annoying faggot.

Also if I see one more fucking person regurgitate the same redditor level humor that is “damn they parsin’ in this hunt” I will likely be banned from the game for hate speech

Its fantastic. I finally found something that works with the Filibuster Fending Boots I've wanted to use for my GNB forever.
You have no fucking idea how much time and effort I put into trying to make those fucking boots work. That teal colour it uses is the bane of my existence, nothing matches it except other pieces of the set.
 
I logged on really quick to gather a khumbiraskin map and it took over half a fucking hour for it to finally spawn jesus fucking christ.

Are you using Luck of the Mountaineer for that one? If so, damn the RNG must have been bad to give you what was it called, Saigaskin maps instead for offer?
