The Detractor - Official DSP Video Game

People who think will sue don't know him. He only talks big but always has a reason why not to do things.

What will happen:

1. Phil will ignore it
2. Phil will use it as another case of ruining his life
3. He will play the game in 4 years himself as a goal for a fundraiser to pay mortgage / credit cards / taxes / khet's heart replacement

The game looks great, but then I read the word "roguelike" and immediately lost interest, why can't indie devs make anything new besides shitty STS and TBOI ripoffs? Why is the indie scene so creatively bankrupt?

Looking at the rest of the trailer it's also

Yep just play Punch Out and switch to Flappy Bird every now and then you'll get the same experience for free.

Phil will get winded doing the google search on the legality of the game. But his pretend unpaid secretary SuperVirgin might impersonate him to try to take it down.

I'm not the dev (I'd be bragging if I made such a thing and reference Kiwifarms nonstop if I were) but I'll defend it.
>roguelike
Roguelike is just popular because it gives more of an illusion of choice. This game is actually very linear. With that said there isn't much to the Punch-Out combat but it's satisfying and has challenge. I really like the pixel art.

It's just one of several silly minigames, including a concentration game with DSP tiles, a simple wood sliding puzzle, simon says, and a few others. This isn't reinventing the wheel but I've gotten an hour's worth of fun.

I'm not saying this is GOTY but it's shitpost timewaster of the year so far. I think everyone who like laughing at Phil should just buy the game, play it for 30 minutes and then get your Steam refund if you don't think it's worth $5. I think it is I just giggle like a retard playing it. If you're gonna compare it to free games of yesteryear then it should be compared to Newgrounds games, and this would have been easily the best thing Newgrounds ever had.

Honest review because Im the most honest guy on the farms, This game is worth 5 bucks in my opinion. For pure shit post value alone its worth it, call me a retard but I actually did giggle at all the little Phil comments that pop up, the punch out arcade style combat and the mini games are fun. And all the little memes about the guy is the cherry on top.

Id say the only thing that could make this whole thing better is a sperg rant from Phil, but the way its looking right now is that he's just gonna be quietly bitter and ban any mention until a superdent brings it up.

The game is solid enough that it could be enjoyed by players who aren't detractors. Some of the injokes would make no sense (like ItsAGundam as the shop keeper), but the basics of Phil being an annoying video game streamer are easy to grasp.

I think the tutorial guide is meant to be a sexy version of Kat, as a dig on how terrified he is of sexy babes in games.

I like to think of it as just putting in things that Phil doesn't like. If Phil ever booted it up he'd get into it cause of all the sweaty jpegs but then would be aghast when he was forced to stare at a woman's body.
