The OP has been updated with news of Aaron's announcement that he is getting divorced.

This was widely anticipated (it's why I didn't include April's name in the title of the thread) though it appears that as of this time there are no court records indicating the start of formal divorce proceedings.

@Balldo's Gate I would suggest you also include info in the OP/thread about Aaron running an illegal* lottery/giveaway on his channel, which also breaks YouTube TOS rules. There’s info about it on Melton’s show and it’s probably discussed on SteelToeBoringShow too.

* = apparently it’s illegal according to Minnesota state law, but it might also be federally illegal? They’re just “giving away” gift cards to anyone who donates $1, $5, or $10. Apparently that’s counter to YT TOS guidelines about channel giveaways as well as breaking Minnesota/federal law about lotteries or giveaway contests. “No purchase necessary” type stuff.
What I understand of the situation makes it sound sketchy but I don't think anything came of it. Unfortunately SteelToeBoringShow doesn't have much other than repeating the fact Melton accused him over the lottery shit. Aaron has continued to do "Prize Nights" including in 2024 with sarcastic titles like "It's Prize Night! Call the Lawyers!" which suggests he isn't scared about doing it

Melton was mildly seething and was just incensed that he’d been covering STMS/Aaron for months to that point and then two Canadian retards come barreling in going “WHOOOOOOOAAAAAAHHHHHH BUDDY…ASH…A-A-ASH…DID WE MAKE HIS WIFE…QUIT THE SHOW?!? LETS GOOOOOOOO LETS GET SOME SUUUUUUUUUBS
I saw that. He was seething decently hard about it :story:

I would argue Andy and Ashton FELTED Steel Toe. I certainly don't want to give Melton too much credit considering apparently he's rolling out the red carpet for Chris Vito Gesualdi. Hackamania is his event.

I thought hackamania was Carl's brainchild. Would make sense why Ralph is not allowed there.
Edit:
Oh boy! Ray Devito, Pat Dixon and Earl Sakel! I hope Stevie Lew and ski mask will also be there!
I'll give props to Aaron for not attending Dabblecon and steering away from the Dabbleverse entirely. Smartest decision of his life.

I'm not surprised this guy didn't have a thread before. Not because there's nothing to mock, but because he's such a loser he's almost beneath notice.
If you saw his show 1.5-2 years ago you'd get it

He filed for the Steel Toe Morning Show trademark back in 2019 and its registered. He went pro se, so I'm a little surprised that went through with no hiccups. I'm also guessing no one at the station cared and/or he retained ownership rights per his contract - theoretically.

He also has a company called Steel Toe Media Inc. in Minnesota which he had to have reinstated in 2023.

Steel Toe Morning Show trademark

Steel Toe Media Inc.

And of course mad respect for the detailed and thorough write-up. And best of luck on the Nick Rekiyeta association portion as well.
Speculation is that Steel Toe Brewing (local craft brewery) used to sponsor the radio show at some point -Thus the Steel Toe Morning show. They quit sponsoring, Aaron got fired, kept the name and gave it a bullshit backstory ---Thats irresponsible speculation but we have called the brewery and couldnt get a satisfactory answer ---Its worth noting that the first ST logo looks a lot like the Steel Toe Brewing logo
He did let his business license expire last year--He didnt do anything about it until we started making fun of it. Then played it off like he knew

Aaron talked a lot more about his divorce on his evening show on Monday and there were some juicy parts. Here's a 12-minute highlight reel:

My highlights:

Aaron denies that cheating was involved in the breakup in a very curious way:

"Did cheating have anything to do with this breakup? Uhhhhh, no. I'm going to say cheating did not have anything to do with this breakup. I did not go behind April's back and start sleeping with other people, that is 100% guarantee, absolutely."

Aaron did things that he was ashamed of and "things got really crazy and really hectic". He was at a "crossroads" in his life where he decided to stop, but "had to make that decision by myself":

"Towards the end I did a lot of things I am not necessarily proud of. I did things I am not necessarily, as a father of three, probably not good stuff.

Irresponsible things that a 37-year old man with 3 children shouldn't do. And I'm ashamed of that. I'm ashamed that I did things that a 37-year old man with 3 children shouldn't do.

However, I am very happy that I am not doing those things. I am very happy, that there was a crossroads in my life where I could have kept doing those things, or I could have gotten off and stopped doing those things. And I did choose, when things got really crazy and really hectic, to stop doing those things. And that's something I'm remarkably happy that I did, however, I had to make that decision by myself."

Aaron wasn't sleeping enough:

"The audience knew that I wasn't right. The audience knew that I was tired. The audience knew that I was drinking two Celsius a show just to get through it. Aaron wasn't sleeping enough sometimes. Look it's, you know, rumors get started for a reason, and the reason rumors get started is because you behave a certain way, and I was behaving a certain way and it lent itself to rumors."

In the last few months Aaron felt that as a father he didn't have a choice but to "move on":

"I think I've got a good attitude about it. I think the last few months made it a little easier because I didn't have a choice but to move on. You know it was one of those things where, like I said, it was the road goes like this, and the guy with three kids, if he's, you know, if he's going to get rid of his shame and if he's going to get rid of, you know, all that, he can't go that way. No, I got three kids, I got to live a better, better life for me. That doesn't mean it's a bad life for anybody else, if that makes sense."

I thought hackamania was Carl's brainchild. Would make sense why Ralph is not allowed there.
In that case nevermind, it's probably his doing instead of Melton's since he's friends with Dax and Vito.

I highly doubt this. This Steel Toe Brewing is hardly "local". It's in Saint Louis Park, a suburb West-Southwest of Minneapolis. I don't think WHMH's signal even reaches that part of the metro. And for what it's worth I listened to Steel Toe a little bit the first few years and I remember him doing ad reads for plenty of businesses in St. Cloud and Waite Park, but never any breweries or beers.

But since we're talking about sponsorships I suppose this is the best time to give a shoutout to Stoney's Bar in Rockville, I'm sure they're very happy that their name has been exposed to a bunch of spergs and hatewatchers with no ties to the area who will never visit their bar. Money well wasted!

Now, April on the other hand.....

She took the Rekieta knot. They yiffed. The balldo has been inside her

In order to keep the Kiwi Farm's good reputation for having 50-60% right, I think this is incorrect. I only know of the guy from Elissa's clips and his crossover with Rekieta, but I swear I've heard him talk multiple times about his kids being at his house and as recently as last week.
You're certain it wasn't Aaron talking about feeding Rekieta's kids spaghetti-O's?

Carl will talk about Aaron's divorce on the next episode of Stuttering John farted podcast. Live in two hours.

It was a sort of bizarre take- that this entire divorce arc is a "work". That Aaron is just doing this to get back at Melton and Chad. He says nobody would be stupid enough to slander their wife before a costly and well litigated divorce. The problem is Aaron did this already to his first wife and it appears the first wife had to file a motion to get him to stop talking about her on air.

The super chatters immediately reminded Karl that this Aaron-April drug binge stuff really corresponds to their friendship with Nick Rekieta. Karl, as a perpetual Diddler Dax worshiper, couldn't bring himself to say much about the Nick situation. Merely Nick really "had his shit together, more than me" when they met in real life.

There was also someone mentioning kiwifarms like a half dozen times in superchats.

Well that's odd because when they met in real life would be the WATP/Dick Show crossover event in Philly last year.

Rekieta was an intoxicated mess who came on stage so totally unprepared that he y didn't get off the stage when he was supposed to. There is a clip of the WATP guys talking about it in the second quoted post and it's clear they were not happy.

Edit: It's not just these isolated clips either. I listened to the entire live WATP live podcast, and Nick sounded even worse in context. As soon as he went on stage he was obviously in belligerently unfunny drunk mode. He was on for over half the show, and kept trying to blurt out zingers that got zero reaction from either the audience or the other guys on stage (aside from a single Vito Pedo joke). He brought nothing, and actually made Vito look funny and charismatic in comparison (which is still damning with faint praise. Vito was, as always, intolerable). A truly embarrassing performance.

His lazyness was also front and center. He wanted to be part of the show, but doesn't even pretend to read the story Vinnie gave him ahead of time so he could participate in the Creep Off segment. Then he whines about Karl having an actual schedule for an actual show, rather than just doing a self-indulgent shit shooting session like he normally does. If I was Karl or Vinnie, I'd be pretty pissed off at him.
Going back to Nick’s performance on this weekend’s Who Are These Podcasts / The Dick Show live event in Philadelphia, it turns out there’s a good reason he was on for so much of the show: he was too drunk to comprehend that he was supposed to leave when his initial segment ended, even after being told to hit the bricks. And the hosts were either too polite or too stupid to physically remove him.

Karl's take was literally the opposite of mine.

I initially thought it may be a "work" based on the little information he gave on the morning show. But then on the evening show, if you look at the clip I posted earlier and the quotes from it, he seemed to me to be implying that April is using drugs and he felt he had to extricate himself from the situation because he had kids.

Karl's position is also that Aaron appears to be implying that April is using drugs. But he concludes that it must be a work, because it's a dumb idea to expose your personal life in that manner. But that seems to make no sense to me. It certainly seems to be consistent with how Aaron has run his show.

This is like believing Ralph when he claimed he was doing a "work" when his wife left him at the airport and he went all "I GOT THE REAL TAPES IF THE BISH WANTS TO PLAY THIS GAME". Why would he make it up? What does he gain? Same thing with Aaron.

Do we know if Aaron’s personal he-ro is also O’Day Simsin?

We already went from "i made mistakes in this marriage" to "this lazy bitch is stealing my money" in a day. I know Aaron is calling this particular marriage not "real" because he didn't have kids with her- but the good folks in the Minnesota judiciary disagree. She owns half the house. She owns half of this worthless company. She is entitled to half the revenue.

BTW, he keeps talking about using his own personal money to reach the streaming goals, which in return pay his salary. Very strange accounting practices over there.

Karl from WATP finally turns on Steel Toe

How Karl describes Aaron and STMS, as Aaron always saying he's going to do X and Y with the show instead of just doing it, is EXACTLY what Rekieta does.
He's going to start an interview series - still waiting on that one
Locals 5k gift - still waiting on that one
X amount of Locals shows in May - nearly mid May and not a single fucking one yet
etc etc

No wonder they became gay lovers so quick, they are basically mirrors of each other. I bet Aaron leaving his preggo wife and 3 kids to marry some homewrecking whore is what Nick wanted to do too.

Aaron did things that he was ashamed of and "things got really crazy and really hectic". He was at a "crossroads" in his life where he decided to stop, but "had to make that decision by myself":

I would take this as him implying that the two couples were doing lots of drugs together. That it went too far for him and he stopped. But Aaron is also clearly trying to build a narrative here where April didn't leave him but rather he made a "high road" decision to leave her.

Like all things with Aaron, there is probably some truth in what he is saying, but probably not the whole truth.

Nick is clearly messed up nearly all the time on alot of things. He can't work and he can barely function. Aaron, for all his faults, has retained a solid work ethic and focus on his show. There is a sort of truth there that whatever Nick is doing, Aaron wasn't willing to follow him. You put it together with Aaron's spagettios story and there was a (small) part of Aaron that actually feels bad about what is going on in Nick's house with Nick's kids.

April maybe was willing to follow Nick into really bad habits. She seems more that type to me anyway.

But Aaron's marriage was unhealthy long before they started socializing with the Rekietas. There were lots of reasons for April to walk out of that marriage and while Nick provided the means, I think the drugs and drug use was just incidental to the process. She was also clearly frustrated with doing the amount of on-camera work she was doing with Aaron and being attacked by his audience. Aaron could also be blaming her refusing to continue her work on his show as being due to drug use.

The good of all this is that Aaron is already winding up to launch an escalating series of attacks on everyone involved. Aaron just can't help himself in situations like this and he will eventually tell everything to his audience. Its not as good as Aaron fighting Nick on Nick's front lawn, but I'm thinking it could be a fantastic substitute. It will get even better if Nick follows his instincts and platforms April to go after Aaron in retaliation.
