I totally agree - I had a serious fall last year which resulted in a textbook 'fight obtained' black eye. I can't even count the amount of people who asked me "Holy shit! Who punched you?". People need to realize that black eyes are more commonly caused by things other than fights and violence. I think people are so hyped up over this whole situation with Nick that they are prone to jumping to the wildest of conclusions for everything. Not an MD, but it really depends. Nick drank a lot, but I don’t think he was so deep in the sauce that he would face seizures from withdrawal.

What you would see is sweats from heat flashes, bouts of nausea, some shaking (typically in the hands), tachycardia (elevated heart rate) and generalized anxiety, depression and cravings. With cocaine, you have a lot of overlap with paranoia and possibly hallucinations being added into the mix.
