I expected Biden to preform like he did at the SOTU where he was rambling and angry but still lucid-ish. The media would spin is as him being "fiery, energetic and passionate" but I didn't actually expect him to 404 with vacant gazes every time Trump was speaking. Its all people are going to remember and talk about.

The fallout from this is so bad. There won't be a second debate. For the safety and sake of the nation, you cannot put Biden up for another performance like that again. Everyone now knows this man is not in charge of the country.

thats the thing that I havent seen anyone discuss. the dnc was going to certify biden virtually before their actual convention to get on the ohio ballot (which closes before the convention). but other states are passed the deadline. VT is the only state that uses the convention choice.

the 1972 VP switch was just the VP not president. if biden steps down, can the dnc ask TX to change the ballot?
