Also, I don't know dick about the game, but I expect Jed to be the villain (cause he's a white hero and we can't have those) and the LARP was supposed to be foreshadowing.
Well look at how much of a clever cookie I am!
Anywho, you lot have already covered it for the most part. Why the hell do you cover up some dude that fucked up in a mine instead of using your insurance and chuking him under the bus? How did nobody notice 7 people vanishing, specially when they likely did normal life in town, so even if Chen was a walking failure that abandoned his little happas, the people in town would know that he works in the mine and I don't expect all the other miners to be losers without any life or family connections. And Jesus fucking Christ the "noooo, my papa was one of the dead! now it affects ME directly!" twist if it can even be called that comes so out of left field and is so bloody irrelevant it's not even funny.
As for the emotion powers, though I find it funny it turned the nigger into a vegetable and that the cop seems like he'll have an early grave since he seems way too fearless for his own good, didn't amount to much outside of that.
And though I "get" what the final scene wants to do, that it lacks the BALLS to have everything go south and have Alex end up in jail for data theft and being a stupid hipster if you fail to get enough people to like her (yes, I know, tall order) ruins it. If you at least needed to cover a minimal threshold of "social links" to not end up in the slammer would have actually added some replay value of sorts, 3 simple endings, go to jail and rot like the stupid bitch you are, you barely get enough people believing you to oust everything but you are effectively still exiled from town and super happy cotton candy where they all fucking love you, lynch Jed and the corpo lady and open 5 more record stores in town.
Game would improve a lot with that Duckie DLC though.
