"Bronze-age superstitions" drives me nuts. Every r/atheism idjit loves tossing that out in random conversations, always trying to derail whatever actual discussion was happening before. The passive-aggressive sarcasm, the desperation for negative attention, it drives me up a wall. It's worse than when they quote Dawkins or misquote the bible, while insisting that only they have ever actually read it.

It's not even accurate, they're almost always whining about Christianity specifically, which is entirely Iron-age. Even the Old Testament is mostly from the Iron-age. They'd have to go after Hinduism if they wanted a major Bronze-age religion to attack, and I've never seen an atheist that knew jack shit about Hinduism.

Or Buddhism, which they often assert is "more of a philosophy and not really a religion", like they're fucking Lisa Simpson.

“Problematic” was once a perfectly cromulent word. Now anyone who says it I immediately dismiss as a fragile, soy chugging faggot who gets horrified into a coma by media made half a century ago.
Same with "Toxic", in almost exactly the same way.

I unironically fucking despise the character of Lisa Simpson now.

The earliest events described may reach back into the Bronze Age, but nothing was written down until the Iron Age.

Or Shinto. That's literally a Stone Age religion if you go back to its origins.

She's identical to Brian from Family Guy. Both once fairly grounded characters that were flanderized into obnoxious elitist cunts. I'm shocked they never made her a lesbian. Unless they did, I haven't seen the show in 20+ seasons now.
Even Brian is more tolerable since he's kind of acknowledged as being fucking insufferable by other characters whereas Lisa is treated as this "moral arbitor" within the actual show itself now.

This so much! Shut up and take my updoot queer folk-friendo!
I heckin' agree so much with you kang. Remember! You are valid. Go punch those effin yts while you are at it!
To add on this - any of the meme things that accumulate over the years.
Like “this guys wife”, “broken arms” etc
takes up half of a thread of just meme posting for upvotes

I've got another one I absolutely hate, and I am pretty sure Redditards use it a fuckton, so here I go:

Frick

I hate that fucking word with a burning passion, how old do you have to be to self-censor yourself in the worst way possible? I have absolutely no respect for anyone who uses it instead of fuck, even saying N-word instead of nigger in social media is more respectable than avoiding to say fuck for some reason, which is actually a word not banned from anywhere. I feel like THAT word needs to be censored instead, because who the fuck would NOT wanna say fuck in this day an age where degeneracy is expected?

Using the word "human" and "humans" where one would normally use "person" or "people" is a really peculiar giveaway. Redditors talk like space aliens.
There are a bunch like that, not sure if it's some retarded descendent of Marxist dialectic materialism or what, but stuff like "black bodies", "holding space", and "centering BIPOCs".

it isnt a reddit thing itself, but using it where sites dont filter out pedophile is very reddit tier. it would be like self censoring yourself by always using N-word rather than saying nigger on kiwifarms

It's odd hearing shitlibs and progs on social media gleefully adopt every ghetto workaround (like "grape", or "unalive", or "304" for hoe, said out loud as in "she a three-oh-foe"), when they're the ones who demanded the mass censorship. I guess it's another #Resistance LARP, where they pretend to dodge HR but if you suggested eliminating the "Trust & Safety" commissars they'd be mortified.

The shit on youtube where they have to say something in place of things like rape or child molestation. Kinda fucking retarded when you consider they are a crime based youtuber, they are going to be mentioning illegal shit all the time.

That seems very reddit. Very safe and cosy, no edges, only round and soft.

Someone in there covered something similar, "unalive" used instead of "kill" and "to die":
That sounds Reddit as fuck and I hate it also. (That video is worth watching)
