You are correct. I think part of it is the paypigs desire to feel like a hero and be appreciated by Phil (he actually hates them.). Another aspect is that there is a deep-seeded resentment for Phil in all but the most dented of dents. Deep down, they know Phil is taking advantage of them and resents him for that. Thats why dents like KGhaleon seem so skit-so at times
Another aspect is that disability checks come in at the beginning of the month (I think). His dents aren't getting bored, they're just tapped out for the month.
I am pretty confident this is a factor. It seems we have this cycle every month where the tips are low and Phil does these desperate begs at the end of the month, and then at the start of a new month the whales throw big money at him.
