The video game salt is one thing. But the expectation that he has earned or deserves 50$. Because he had fun is just insane, the greed is insane. I just cant grasp the line of thinking.

The only thing I can think of is he thinks that people on tv shows get paid per episode so should he.

It's hard for people with a normal/healthy psychology to understand. Literally  everything Phil says is projection. Phil's mind is a slurry of Narcissism, paranoid delusions, etc. Phil's mentally ill brain can't imagine how other people feel or think.

Phil believes he is an Entertainer, like a stand-up comedian or a T.V. show host but Phil doesn't even have the ability to understand what other people find entertaining. He doesn't even accept other people being entertained by something he isn't as valid. If you like something he doesn't it's because you are a fanboy/shill/loser/cuck. If you think it's funny watching him struggle and get frustrated it's because you are a disgusting asshole shithead fuckface. Phil does not view others as real people.

In Phil's mind he is the only real person on a planet with a population of 1, and everyone else is just some kind of human shaped bug.
So when Phil is having fun and being entertained he projects that onto his viewers, and that means they are having just as much fun and being entertained. That means they owe him money for doing the "job" they tuned into him for.

That's how we get to Phil telling people it's the game's "job" to entertain his audience, not his. His "job" is to be entertained which means you are being entertained, so you owe him money.

To use the Sandwich Shop analogy if Phil had a sandwich shop the customers would come on Tuesday because Phil is eating a salami sandwich on Tuesday and they like salami sandwiches. If Phil enjoyed the sandwich that means they did too, and now they owe him the price of 1 sandwich.

I really never understood why he said this. "I play all the major games" and that he's "decent" at them. Playing every major AAA release doesn't make you one of the best overall gamers in the country, it makes you a fucking casual. Just devouring the AAA slop like a good consumer.

I don't know much about James other than it's easy to laugh at him and people make memes about him being a cuck, having no time, having a mildlife crisis and an overall pushover, but isn't most of the AVGN drama caused by the Screw Attack hamplanets? Again, I don't know much about shit James has done, but some of what I remember (like with the AVGN movie) seemed more of a result of him mishandling money rather than him being a scumbag.

But even if James has been grooming chinese kids in his basement all this time, he at least has an actual legacy and a time where he put some effort and you can say "yeah, that was great". He actually did pioneer the whole angry internet review genre. People still look up to him and say he inspired them. Phil on the other hand will still insist that he invented half of YouTube genres but to this day I haven't seen a single person say they were inspired by Phil, it's only Phil who says he inspired people, to the point he can't even name someone. Yeah, decline is natural for youtubers and in cases like James' it's sad, but it's nowhere near close because even at his peak, many were legit wondering if Phil was acting like a retard or if he was being himself.

Capcom are idiots for not allowing players with 300 hours on the game like Phil to match against bronze players in casual to practice combos.

According to Phil it could be fun for a bronze player to play against a master to see what it’s like.

If only the game had some sort of hub where you could sit down at an arcade cabinet and play people of all skill levels.

Honestly though I think it’s crazy the game has been out for over a year and he has not once stepped foot into the battle hub.

I'd just have it on record that during the beta where you could only go into the Battle Hub (you could still do ranked and casuals tho but you couldn't do it from a menu) he ran away like a bitch and almost had a mental breakdown because someone said "DSP the Italian fat man" in the Battle Hub chat. This lead to him going to the options menu, changing the language to Japanese because DSP is so fucking retarded and dense that he thought THE GAME WOULD ALSO TRANSLATE ALL BATTLE HUB MESSAGES FROM OTHER PEOPLE INTO JAPANESE SO HE COULDN'T UNDERSTAND IT AND THEREFORE HE COULD NOT BE TROLLED!

SF 6 also offers in game tournaments which are either open rank or separated by rank. Also, rank can be deceptive: for example I encountered players in the hub with New challenger as rank but had hundreds of hours in battle hub and no rank minute. Some just treat it as an online aracde for SF 6. In terms of Casual, matchmaking: i am not sure how Capcom match makes but I am stuck in Silver and the game threw me Platinum and even Diamond ranks when I play Casual. Might be a settings thing

Recently, I had the opportunity to be in Phil's area recently. So I got to experience the Pacific Northwest in the summer. The weather is nice and there are some good trails to hike outside of Seattle. However, where he lives sucks. He lives a few miles from SEATAC, it's like he got off the plane and looked for a house nearby without knowing the area.

Renton sucks. The mall he talks about near the airport is a mess. All the worst people from the US and abroad just got dumped in the area, and it shows! As much as he hates Asian-style people, they are everywhere around his area. In addition, the cost of living is awful. Just a basic meal out will run you $30. He really picked a dumb area to live.

If the King of Stupid was actually as smart as he thinks he is, he would know that there has always been a fairly large Asian population on the west coast as they were used as slaves during the gold rush.
