You can't get anymore weeb than this lmfao
Apparently Mikeneko had a twitcast stream after Aqua's announcement. She was in very good mood, sang the k-on graduation song and asked what is wrong. She ended the stream with "Justice will prevail". What a bitter woman.
She has another marshmallow stream in YT soon
I kinda felt sorro for the bullying she got during the NicoNico reunion streams, thankfully she corrected my lapse in judgement.

Yes. Coco and Sana still have all their videos on their accounts. Haven't checked Mel's or Rushia's, so no idea if they do the same with terminations
They delete the terminated talent's videos iirc, Rushias and Mel's were deleted a couple months after their terminations

Contrast this with Selen how they started deleting videos before they even announced the terminaton and thats when people found out she was getting terminated, or how Mika, who graduated amicably, had all streams deleted besides a couple charity streams she requested to stay up

I wonder if taiga ever kept any archives of the shit the stalker did to use as evidence when he files appeals

If he kept NO evidence, I feel this is kinda on him

I think unfortunately, this just is a bad look even after looking at everything.

Her saying that it's because of a "change in direction with the company" just plants a lot of poisonous seeds that will only grow as time goes on.

If I'm correct as I was before, I think more of the Old guard is going to follow her eventually since most of these ladies are pushing their 40s by now and going all in on the idol stuff just isn't going to be feasible after a while.

At that point all you really have is the shark to your name but who knows for how long given how infrequent her streams already are along with sort of lamenting not being able to see her family.

The only thing they can really do right now is gave you a bunch of new talents the sort of numb the pain, but new faces don't hold that nostalgic value.
It is quite the same predicament with AKB48, the older faces that is so phenomenal, they build what AKB brand to what it is today, creating branches in a lot of countries.

At some point those foundation builders will graduate, some get married, some goes to the television grinder. I know there are a lot of factors in regards to it, I am just comparing it to Hololive.

Fans gets attached, and they get attached hard. No substitute would suffice.

Mark my words, the moment Hololive started getting an idea of shuffling the girls around. It is the start of a decline.

Delutaya, formerly Mano Aloe.

If Delutaya does join Vshojo I think we can expect some more bitter Mikeneko since she hates her.

She dosent forgive. She dosent Forget.

Anyway, Here is drunk fox streaming Elden Ring for 12 hours.

She dosent know the meaning of rest.

Its really feels like 99% of vtubers are all asians or happas. I don't know exactly why that is. Maybe its anime shit IDK.
But where the white people at?
A few reasons why. First and foremost, look at the primary companies hiring in question. Hololive, Nijisanji and Brave; all three are based within Japan and have historically asked for or even outright requested that the ability to speak minimal Japanese or above. Even Globie, the European division of Brave has a section in it's application forms to highlight Japanese. That instantly limits the scope of who would be accepted. Given these are Asian companies, acceptations typically are made for Chinese and Korean speakers since these are two other markets that they advertise towards and have investment ties too. Ironic given that these sub-divisions are dubbed "EN" but we'll rant on that a bit later.

Presentation is another factor. The English language covers many regions of the world; America, Europe, Oceania. Hell even parts of Africa, Asia and the Middle-East. Therefore accents and the appeal to them vary. Even if these companies isolated the hiring to White natives of the United States and he United Kingdom, entire parts of said countries are basically crossed out because those accents have been either deemed unattractive or difficult to understand for non-native speakers. You only need to look at the Kyo hiring blunder to see what the outcome is.

We also have internal racial bias. No matter if these companies want to admit it or not, they rather work with Asians because they know Asians will toe the line. A Western presence that goes against Japanese corporate autism will cause internal friction or see deliberate sabotage from managers with a grudge. Let us not forget that via the leaked Luca logs from his former mod that NijiEN staff cried when the Luxiem members shouted at them for canning the concert. If they are unable to handle a mild bit of heat from a Swedish femboy, imagine what an actual full blooded American male would have done to them. Nepotism also comes into play. But I think the maps interlinking talents in each company (including Western based ones) is pretty well known here as is.

Now what does amuse me is these said "EN" sub-divisions, many of the notable success stories and why they managed to thrive... They are all White. HoloLive has Gawr Gura, Mori and Kiara. Nijisanji has/had Pomu, Elira and Vox. The Canadian (Chinese+) company of Phase connect rides all of it's fame upon a dysfunctional mold rabbit called Pippa. Idol, now owned by Brave; it's biggest success story is Rin. Upstart FIRST STAGE PRODUCTION, it's male unit is three Whites and two Latinos. Vshojo is also heavily dominated by Whites and Latinos. Are Latinos White? No. But the US prison system is trying to imply otherwise.

So what allowed them to be successful? Because they are Western native talents geared at Western viewers; yes even Vox beyond his ASMR. It's why current Nijisanji and Brave continue to fail when they hire Japanese natives or ESL's to represent these Western expansions. Yes, you know the language, but you do not share the same understanding of our cultures or have relatable stories that resonate with the viewer base you are trying to court. If I wanted to watch a Japanese streamer, I'd watch the primary branches. The whole point of "EN" is the English speaking part.

Question, how long ago was it that VShojo opened up tryouts?
Started mid-last month and closed hours before Aqua's announcement.

Also Ame, Fauna, Mumei, and Fuwamoco, with Justice (majority-white) shaping up nicely so far. Council/Promise were the only gen that wasn't majority-white.

I would imagine it probably has to do with their skills.

If we're talking about this in terms of anime politics, take somebody like monkey d Luffy and his voice actress Mayumi Tanaka.

Theoretically speaking, they could have gotten anybody to play him but only she is the one who can really embody with the character stands for and vtubers are the same way.

Like can you imagine if Kiki somehow got the Mori character and Karen ended up getting the chicken?

I mean they probably will still have a bit of an audience just because of new generation hype but I doubt any of them would be as popular as they are right now.

These characters are hard carried about how they look since and sound so even feeling one out of that quota can harm a tuber success

Delutaya is so music focused, I can't see her in VShojo tbh. There have to be better option for a vsinger.

Are there any verified pictures of Raora/Yuniiho? These clips of Marine's and Ao's comments about her looks made me curious. The only thing I have found was this random collage from /vt/ that was posted a few days ago. The picture below, a twitch con visit, looks legit (twitch con 2023 in Paris, check the spoiler) but the others are more sketchy. The left face pic leads to this chinese/tawainese post, the small one is untraceable.
