Why do we still use written signatures? If you can draw something as retarded looking as mr moon did and have it still work clearly it doesn't work for non repudiation. Cryptographic signatures have existed for years now.
We should bring back signet rings and sealing wax

If they consented for the footage to be released to one party, would that also cover the other parties trying to get the footage?
I believe so.
Out of curiosity, what is the legal reasoning for all these documents ending with this? I've scanned through a handful of legal documents and affidavits in my life and I've never seen that. Is that like a weird minnesota thing?

I should really work on having a better signature. I basically just scribble on the line now.
There is no particular legal reasoning behind it from the point of origin; in English law centuries ago it was just used to indicate that the person didn't have anything else to say about the matter, and made it clear that, e.g. there weren't missing pages after that (the same way some Tweet threads have /ENDS at the end or a book might have a page saying "The end".)

Rekieta traffic violation (73-VB-24-3399) update:

Rekieta still has not paid the $539 fine issued after he drove 95 in a 70 with expired insurance and registration while swerving between lanes.

It would appear debt collectors are now getting involved.

Understandable. He needs that money for coke.

Ok, but the saying is actually "No honor among thieves" because criminals don't really have morals, so you're not supposed to trust them.
None between adulterous spouses either, but they all tend to stick together when the coppers arrive.
No, they don't, that's the whole point of the prisoner's dilemma. Hey @St. Alia of the Knife why are you agreeing with it? It's wrong, lmao. You butchered the idiom exactly in half the wrong way.

Autistic Litertaure and Language Sperg:

This is actually a well-documented phenomenon that falls under the title of 'malapropism', 'autoantonymic phrase', or 'bifurcated idiom' where a well-used phrase is commonly abbreviated, but the meaning is in opposition to the full phrase or saying.

Notable examples include:

'Ignorance is bliss' where the full quote is 'If ignorance be bliss, then 'tis folly to be wise'

'Curiosity killed the cat' where the remainder is 'but satisfaction brought it back'.

The second part of 'the early bird gets the worm' is 'but the second mouse gets the cheese.'

'Now is the winter of our discontent' followed by 'made glorious summer by this sun of York'.

'Great minds think alike' is transformed by 'but fools seldom differ' in conclusion.

'Bloos is thicker than water' is more fully 'The blood of the covenant is thicker than the water of the womb'.

' Jack of all trades, master of none' is transformed by the addition of 'but still oftentimes better than master of none.'

To bring this around to Nick, this is just the type of thing he would do thinking himself clever, but then hoist upon his own linguistic petard.

Maybe he thought the saying was
"Know honor among thieves"

That doesn't make sense, but neither does "honor among thieves"

That is more of a mondegreen or pun. Still a malaporopism, but of a different variety.

God, he is such a manchild.

"Fuck you government! I am not paying you shit!"

Oh, you'll pay Nick. You'll pay.

He also, as near as anybody can tell, hasn't paid the money he owes Monty for losing his appeal, either.

If he were a poorfag, that would be one thing, but this is 100% his ego at work.

I have money on his father paying it for him... just like his taxes...

Monty will get what he is owed in ass, cash, or grass snow. And none of it will be given consensually.

That's exactly the type of shit that made Rekieta the creature he is today. He's never had to take personal responsibility for anything. Mommy, daddy, and the Petrofac dollars got him covered.

Again, if he were poor, I might cut him some slack here, but this is just him being an absolute dipshit. There's zero excuse for it. It takes like 5 minutes to write a check and drop it in the mail. It speaks volumes as to what an arrogant ass he is.

And even if you're the type reading this that says "fuck the government," Monty is a private citizen wronged by Nick. Same recalcitrance wouldn't apply.
