Complaining about fuel economy on an Aston Martin. Lol, lmao even.

I think it's children who like it and of course any excuse to cut costs. If one has actually ever driven a car, you should appreciate tactile feedback of real buttons.
The pajeet h1bs love their electric cars and are all about that conspicuous consumption to project status. Always got to have the latest shiny tech. I did see one of those vinfast cars, quite possibly one of the ugliest vehicles I've ever seen.

A family loses their house in a house fire that appears to have started from a charging Tesla, and 6 cats sadly also died in the blaze.
50/50 if the Tesla caught fire itself or if the charger/electrical system feeding the charger was overloaded or improperly installed and caught fire and then the Tesla caught fire.

Electricians really don't seem to understand that a 50A circuit for a range that runs maybe an hour a day at 20A is very different than multiple hours at 40A. And this is why I do all this shit myself.

Saw one of the newfangled Amazon delivery vans recently. It looks to be electric.

What if the batteries catch fire and destroy the cargo? Or worse, get the driver?

How do those catch fire usually?
From what I've heard age and failing seals or hoses letting out the fuel or wiring wearing through, or (maybe just a rumor) the windshield washer fluid leaking out onto the fuse box which if it's somewhere not-California may still contain enough Methanol to be flammable.

Here's a new video about the Tesla-Top Gear lawsuit.

It's actually quite impressive that the suit got dismissed when the UK is a shithole where it's extremely easy to sue people for libel. Musk must have really fucked up if he couldn't even do it.

He had two disadvantages: Clarkson was right, but more importantly he was still an enormous media darling (and still working for the BBC at the height of his career) and was therefore protected by the system.

It still scared him deeply. It was years before he reviewed another Tesla (even though they were a really important brand through those years), and when he finally did so on Grand Tour, it was with the softest of kids gloves.

To be fair the LLVs(standard gas vehicles) the USPS uses/used for years have caught fire plenty of times.

Well that last LLV rolled out the factory in 1994. Everyone you see today is AT LEAST 30 years old. Those little guys have outlived every attempt to replace them and there are still 120k on the road today.

And think of how they are operated; Mail box to mail box. Like being stuck in a never ending traffic jam for 30 years, 6 days a week. Lots of heat and not much air flow through the engine bay. The starter motor gets engaged who know how many times a day because the mailman isn't allowed to exit the truck while its running.

30+ year old pressurized TBI fuel lines. 30+ year old starter cables. 30+ year old wiring. Qestionable maintenance by postal mechanics. Who knows how many times the engines and transmissions have been in and out etc.. I don't think they are any more prone to fires compared to any other car. I just think when they do catch fire it makes the news.

He clearly had a team of lawyers going over everything he said for that review. They were in the back seat.

Tesla randomly locks owner out while her kid was inside. Footage from that day from the car was deleted.
One of the first things I learned about cars is if you leave a car running then you leave the door open or at least a window open when you get out. I had a spare key but I had to pull the distributor coil wire to get it to stop running while I got it.

Or in the Tesla case, take your key/fob with you.

Unless the Tesla automatically closed the door and the window when she got out, then it's just funny.
