It's a shame really, because I'm a sucker for the short-tempered, no-nonsense personality; especially when it's paired with a bubbly, naive individual. It just bounces off each other well. But we didn't get that in the show. Vaggie will give Charlie a reality check from time to time, but Charlie hasn't needed to calm Vaggie down, like she did in the pilot. Their relationship is now imbalanced. Instead of friends who better the other flaws, we have one character who has basically solely devoted themselves to the other character that doesn't give them the time of day.

I hope she's right about Alastor and he becomes a fuckwit who wants to screw everyone over. Thus making shippers seethe and everyone who calls him daddy (eugh) be mad at the cartoon, where ultimately he gets humiliated and eliminated for good fucking reason by "Vagyna" or Lucifer (maybe Lilith could do the finishing touch, who cares, and make his head explode). That would be funny, but I think that would happen only in Season 4, so people could milk the character.

EDIT: Is it me, or is Alastor an actual ripoff of Noob Saibot? Having a shadow who possesses power and such? Noob Saibot does that as well, only his powers are better established and less lame.

I think that's a common-enough trope. Like, Noob wasn't the first one to do it IIRC. It would be utterly hilarious of Viv decided to take inspiraiton from MK of all places.

Well, she does have one character trait independent of Charlie: being a vindictive cunt. Has absolutely no problem killing her former sisters in arms, smiled like a sunshine after seeing Adam backstabbed, probably won't give a shit about the corpses of the Exterminators getting defiled and eaten by the army of cannibals her "girlfriend" (more like Master) raised.

EDIT: I dare say, if Charlie somehow cut Vaggie out of her life, she'd go after her with the same viciousness she previously aimed at Heaven.

Now that I keep hearing, it seems to me that all the people that you feel like you could root for on the "bad/hell" side are complere jackasses for the weirdest reasons. Perhaps this is good, in the end. Could it be that she's a genius, in the end? Making Heaven to appear bad, but secretly being based? (as many said hundred of pages ago...) but I feel like this is the case.

I am going to sperg for a bit about the Helluva image seen in @KissMyTaint's recent post. It appears to be official artwork to promote Vivie's appearance at this year's LVL UP Expo. The big issue I have is that it's so crowded with unnecessary characters and an eyesore of a background. Why include Mille's tranny sibling, who had less than thirty seconds of screentime in a main episode and was only just featured in a short, and Fizzarolli? You would think Octavia would have been featured if her parents are there (although it would be a fair question to ask why even have Stolas and Stella in the image).

Hazbin hotel would be more intresting if they incoproated more Jewish/Muslim myths about angels, christianity doesnt really go into much detail about them. Muslims believe in azrael which is an angel that kills evildoers. I think that charecter would be a great addition to hazbin hotel.

I think you're thinking too hard about it. I understand, because of the barren wasteland that Hazbin is, but due to Viv's storytelling ADD I think going into depth about various Abrahamic myths would actually work against the series.

I think a serious story based around the backdrop of abarhamic religious lore would be geniuonly intresting more than any greek myth in my opinion. Unfortunatly a bunch of leftists would use such a show to insert their politics into it.

Probably should've reduced the cutesy monologues by 20%, made the chick scream in agony and expletives when she's stabbed, and I guess work in some way to make her realize Blitzo is gay and get even happier about it.

Honestly all these shorts prove is that the show wouldve been cooked even if it didnt start focusing on shitty gay drama.

There are some fun ideas for episode plots there sometimes, but the execution is generally severely lacking.
