It’s kinda funny how the weebs dialogue sounds like shit Stolas would actually say except treated for the dumb shit that it is.
To follow up on my own point, this episode also could imply a lot of those exes at the “I hate Blitzo” party could’ve just been retarded humans who wanted to fuck him, so maybe that’s how he had so many exes, they got into him killing him.

Episode itself by its own merits was just decent but more entertaining than most of Season 2

But unintentionally is the funniest thing Vivzie produced related to Helluva Boss

Guess my theory on it being Viv was wrong...can't tell if that's for the better or worse. The short was...whatever. The idea in itself isn't bad. I just kind of wish it was a 10 minute episode with the IMP crew. Feels like something they would do in season 1.

Another incest joke. Who do you think in the crew has this fetish guys? One of the writers? One of the storyboard artists? A compositor? Place your bets down below.

Somehow that dialogue didn't feel internet enough. Maybe it's been too long since the heyday of FF and Livejournal and Vivziepop's crew have forgotten how to do "PeNgU1N oF d00m" writing styles. Probably should've reduced the cutesy monologues by 20%, made the chick scream in agony and expletives when she's stabbed, and I guess work in some way to make her realize Blitzo is gay and get even happier about it.
"Blitzo is just soooo sexy and desirable you guys! Look how much every random character loves him."

We get it

So far in the short series, the first episode was alright for what it was, the second one was meh, and this one was not it. I guess those who are looking for the show to be back to basics with the assassination plot would be okay with this, but even then, this episode in particular fumbled the bag so hard here.

To be fair, this is probably the only one that would be believably into him compared to like 100 random guys and girls who are so sad that he had a one night stand, unless they were also degenerate nerds that he killed.

The problem is these shorts are not good with covering missions and the various hijinks that take place. They seem better suited for having bits of character development.

90% of hazbin Hotel fans dont know this but If you Kill yourself its a sin, thus you end up in hell. Kill yourself now and you will see blitzo!!
I wish hazbin and helluva were inpired a little more by the divine comedy and do stuff like give to suicide victims like the teacher gnarly and wooden horns as a reference to what happens to them according to Dante.
Speaking of which, guy was pretty based, considering that he sent muhammad in the same circle where people are condemned to be boiled into liquid shit for eternity...

Honestly all these shorts prove is that the show wouldve been cooked even if it didnt start focusing on shitty gay drama.
I wanted to say this but i forgot and now it came back once this mini episode rolled out
And that is
Helluva boss wouldn't have worked either ways as episodic because viv is not funny

All of her works suffer from same type of bad humor that works in specific scenarios or is really really hit or miss. This isn't issue specific to helluva boss but hazbin too. Her switching to mostly comedic and episodic show would've accelerated hate for her humor even further since now it's only comedy and if she cannot write good serious drama what makes you think she'll write comedy any better when literally main criticism viv gets is that her works are not funny and come across as immature highschool humor.

People saying helluva boss being episodic to me is same as saying hazbin would've been bit better if they had more episodes which they would if more competent person wrote it but this is viv and she cannot even with restrictions put her ego down.
Tdlr: women are not funny

I couldn't stand the dialogue. Way too exaggerated and just another way to make people think Blitzo truly is this sex magnet who can't be stopped or something. I did like Emberlynn's demon design, though. Like that they made her a cat-like demon from the cat headphones she wore prior to her death.

But there's also another thing in question... that necklace she wore. Does this imply that mere random angelic items can basically guard its wearer? Does this imply that angelic stuff outside of Heaven can affect demons, even if that angelic stuff isn't from Heaven itself? I know the shorts are probably "non-canon" but this opens a lot of theories about the unknown implication of random man made "angelic" devices or wears that can protect its wearer. This literally can be explored upon now that I think about it but... what am I saying. They just wrote anything for this short and they know 99% of the viewers won't care to question that.

What's with the shorts, what happened to making full episodes? Assume there's a piece of information I missed somewhere

The next episode ain't until October, so they're giving us these occasional shorts to help "pass the time" till then.

I don't think it's about the fetish. "Basically incest" is one of those common fandom phrases bandied about by shippers to defame rival ships, particularly She-Ra fans opposing Adora and Catra as a couple. IMO it's the best joke in the video if that's deliberate.

Chris Chan reference. Well, probably not, if someone's deep enough in the lore they can probably explain how Chris got the idea in the first place, it's probably somehow related to that.
