I think some people doesn't understand, some DEI/woke shit won't singlehandedly kill the game. Game won't fail if you put some faggot or tranny on it.

Problem with this game, is that this game is infected with DEI to the point it affect every single thing about the game. Mainly character design. Those hideous creatures is designed for Tumblr faggots. As much as i hate alphabet faggots, not all of them like Tumblr Faggots. Some alphabets retards still like visually appealing/traditionally attractive characters. No one cares tracer is faggot, what everyone care is how good looking she's. Overwatch/Apex or other goyslop has pronoun or other DEI bullshit, but their character design is still good enough for majority of people.

You started to really see it with The Last Jedi. If you recall, that movie became a political touchstone and if you liked all of that good, progressive shit then you felt compelled to stan the Disney Wars movies... for a time. But every time someone engages in it, they alienate more and more of their potential audience until, suddenly, the flops start coming and then don't stop.

Ghostbusters 2016 did it first. Journos literally tried fucking people's lives over because they said milquetoast shit like "i'm just not going to watch it because i don't think it was made for me". Any neutral or mildly critical thing about the movie when the first shitty trailer dropped got censored or copyright struck by the IP holder (Which IIRC is sony too so uh... hmmm...).

This harks on to a point I've long suspected with games like Concord, Dustborn and Redfall, is that the surface level wokeness is the most noticeable part but the deeper cancer is that it effects the management level. The game devs arn't blameless but upper management needs a clear vision and all they can see is a rainbow flag. And the worst part is that most of these people will stay in the industry to infect other projects as they get shuffled around from job to job because publisher backed studios don't retain devs anymore.
An example being a writer on the saints row reboot, she was a freelance writer who didn't get caught in the Volition implosion and now she's working on CoD MW3.
That's primarily the problem with companies like SBI. There shouldn't be a need to bring in outside writers like this to dictate entire projects who can then inject their own politics into it.

I agree with your post however, Apex Legends was (and still is) a financial success. The same can be said for Valorant and while not a financial success Paladins still pulls around 4k people daily. Even Gigantic, while very much dead even after a re-release, died more so because of no advertisements and lack of post launch support, rather than DEI interference.

Remember Bartleborn? Going F2P didn't help that game either. I think Concord is donezo, there is nothing they can do to make it work.

To me personally, it's the ugly fucking color palette. This is the most pastelle colors looking ass game I have seen since Life Is Strange. The character designs are hideous, they had similiar ones in Battleborn but those looked kinda cool thanks to the artstyle of that game.
