I don't know if it's the RSS feed specifically but he was responsible for making some specific thing that all podcasters used. Back when him and Mike were on good terms they joked about it and his other accomplishments despite him "living in a cardboard box" as you say.

And Melton does have a master's in computer stuff and was a super early podcaster back before you had OBS and could just make one on your phone so I feel he would "know his shit"

I know the podcast network thing is a fact because people with podcasts in 2006 do mention it as does he, the idea of a Network in general was mocked at the time and is still a bad idea but it is something he should have credit for.

Do you know what is funny? What is today the German "Green Party" started out as two parties, BÜndins90 and The Green, who fused together into one movement.
