It really depends on how the judge views him as a person when he stands in front of the court.

If the judge views him as a fuck up from a good family who isn't a harm, maybe jail isn't seen as helping and rehab is preferred with more years of probation. But if the judge views him as a delinquent with no respect for the authority of the court, and has a history of violating and failing at alternative methods such as rehab, it might be a few years for that drug charge. And considering we don't know what he probation terms are from the grand larceny, he might be looking at that 5 year sentence.

He's a drug addict who got into a fight with a family member. If that family member doesn't see him as a threat now then he's not exactly prison material. Society is better served with Bossman in a forced treatment program not gen-pop.
