Goin' through some personal stuff so I haven't been able to play recently.
Just finished doing the gatherer deliveries questline where you learn about the rabbit people. As a rabbit person myself, there was only 1 line of dialogue that acknowledged I was of the same species as them. The rest of the time, they spoke to me like I'd never seen a viera in my life despite literally being one. The differences weren't anything significant with the only different things between the viera and shetona cultures is the part the men play and that vieras are more closed off from the outside world while shetona are basically the opposite.
In viera culture, the men descend to the villages during summer mating seasons to pick a broad to fuck (usually picking the same one each time) before they fuck off again into the bushes, taking with them any male offspring with them of age. For shetona, the men are nomadic and they go around fucking as many women as they can, leading them to having multiple partners and several children meaning the job of the man is to literally just be traveling fuck meat to keep the species alive. (Which funnily enough gives weight to the fucking like rabbits phrase although, with them making so many kids, I wonder if the issue of inbreeding ever happens since a lot of kids share blood through their father. I wouldn't put it past 2 shetona getting it on only to find out they're step siblings afterwards.) I think the women also take multiple partners, just mating with any male who's willing. Shetona refer to each litter they have with a different partner as "families" with Shetona having multiple families. It's kind of confusing but I guess with so little men being born to a race that supposed to be long lived, they gatta do what they gatta do to survive.
Male shetona got it pretty good. 0 responsibility except sowing your seed and hoping 2 of your kids from different moms don't end up fucking each other down the line.
