He lives in Texas, and while my husband was playing games online with him a few nights ago, he admitted that he called his neighborhood's HOA on a neighbor who had "too big" of a Trump sign in his yard (the HOA was like, "Yeah, technically the sign is too big than what we allow, but it's really in poor taste to tell people they can't put political signs up during election time"). The friend was complaining to my husband about his Karen-like behavior getting shut down by even the HOA, lmao.

A couple of years ago, my husband (or myself) would just try to change subjects, but he actually asked the friend, "Okay, would you have reported the neighbor to the HOA if it was a Harris sign?" When my husband received no answer, he said, "Well, freedom of speech exists ... Don't be a dick, man. Why would you let a sign bother you this much?"

The friend pretty quickly conceded and shut up at that point, lol.

I'm not a fan of Trump's rally-centric campaigning, especially when they all start sounding the same. But if there was any state that required a physical, in-your-face reminder of why they should turn red, it's VA. The Loudon County and McAuliffe stuff happened 2 years ago.
