honestly that sounds rad as fuck. remake Umbrella Academy to take place in the Resident Evil universe but everything else stays the same, from the comics and not the botched TV adaption with Ellen's trooning ruining it.

No, my understanding is that it's like super (artificial, chemical) puberty, including mood swings. But although cross-sex hormones are unhealthy and weird, flooding your body with testosterone doesn't cause instant menopause.

Something like that will happen, though, if she stops HRT. She would have to wait for her estrogen levels return to normal, since the body takes longer to adjust and she wouldn't be injecting it but would just have to wait. (Of course, this is assuming she doesn't nuke her entire system in the meantime and is even CAPABLE of normal hormone levels naturally)

Adding more testosterone in brings on some of the effects of what a male would go through at puberty BUT the body is still female and has to deal with it.

They both have vaginal atrophy in common (and probably a couple of other things (osteoporosis risk?).

Pooners sometimes get hysterectomies for vaginal atrophy. They are then surprised that having a hysterectomy isn’t painless.

Yeah Lord knows Im not saying it's natural like actual male puberty- but it also isn't a female body going through menopause. Just as a eunuch (drastic decrease of any sex hormones) experiences something different than a castrated male on estrogen. It's a fucked up unnatural kind of hormone replacement, but a replacement nonetheless.
source: lost frens to the gender idiocy in the 2000s- early 2010s. Going on testosterone simply does not induce a menopause-like experience, apart from the vaginal dryness I guess. They have more energy and more aggression and sex drive because it's testosterone. Only the female detransitioners who had to come off test, and had to wait for natural hormonal levels to return on their own, experienced things like hot flashes, lethargy, etc until it all leveled out. (Idk about anyone who had ovaries yeeted though and don't talk to any of those lunatics anymore)

I think Ellen is just miserable and looks sluggish and suicidal because she's an anorexic basketcase on synthetic hormones and probably a bunch of SSRIs who cut up her body and tanked her career. Menopause might suck but it doesn't make you look like a goblin

I've heard that the initial period cycle upon going off of testosterone and having female bodily functions start to come back is no joke.

The comics started started publishing in 2007, in the middle of the band's heyday (the black parade comes out in 2009, their most famous song). The comics actually got decent acclaim from comic fans who weren't just fans of the band which is why it ended up getting an adaption that didn't make the band author the selling point cause it actually held up on its own (also cause the band doesn't really exist now).

Cross sex hormones, turbo menopause will age you horribly. Like that French graphic novel Sandcastles. I can't get Erin Moran out of my mind. I see an end like hers for Ellen.

First pic is from 2018, so 2 years before her coming out as trans. Second pic is from August 5th of this year.
Wanted to find pics of her before and after transition to see if there was any noticeable changes that could point towards her getting some kind of surgery/implants/etc on her face, because I was pretty on board with that at first aftter reading this thread, but the shape of her face actually looks mostly the same. Went to a stock photo site so I could get raw/mostly unedited pics.
  • She's lost weight for sure, but nothing too extreme
  • She stopped wearing makeup (obviously) so it makes any flaws stand out more
  • No noticeable changes in hairline so far it seems?
  • Definitely looks more tired/sickly in general
  • Slight change in hair texture/color? (hair texture has a very slight chance of changing following any type of surgeries iirc, and probably is affected by hormones as well. color might just be lighting and/or she's dyeing it for some reason)
That's all I noticed.
I mostly remember her for her post and early 2010s roles, she definitely had a rounder, softer face back then. She was 31 in 2018 which is still pretty young, so maybe she did have surgery or something on her face BEFORE transitioning?

It can cause Polycythemia, the none cancerous version of the cancer Boogie 1488 lied about having, Testosterone increases red blood cells, thus increasing the risk of clots and strokes/heart attacks.
Theres Pooners being treated by phlebotomy (bleeding, the medieval treatments to drain bad humors) by doctors afraid of the ire of the Gender Cult by just being honest and taking them off T, so they try to drain the excess blood as a last resort to stave of the sort of problem that caused the Locked In Pooner to end up auditioning for Metallica's "One".

One Pooner was complaining her blood was "like syrup", giving women these levels of Testosterone is risking killing them or worse.
