He claims there is 190m+ in a spendthrift trust, which the trustee will only release to him upon satisfaction that he is independently financially stable. He thinks that if he has the 30-35k post-tax winnings from a reality internet show in his bank, the trustee will decide he is now safe to dump the money on.
He probably gets nominal disbursements for basic living costs, but at nearly 40 he has still failed to have any sort of respectable career that would satisfy the trustee to unload unimaginable wealth on a Kentucky hillbilly. He'll probably die never seeing it. Smartest decision his dad ever made.
What did Alex talk about with Sam before Binx turned up? Sam was grilling him about what money he actually had. Alex reiterated he really cared about the $50k because everything was expensive "even if you're rich" due to things like land tax, and he needed to work for a living. When Sam asked him about the Rolex he had, he "didn't know" what model of Rolex was because it was a gift from la creatura. He told Sam he wanted to go "behind the cameras" and have a proper conversation about "going into business". He also repeatedly showed off his wife's ring, bragging that it was "fully paid off" and "cost as much as a condo". Reading between the lines, I reckon the Bernards bought him a house and maybe give him a monthly stipend to cover some living expenses (but not land taxes), but also required him to actually work to keep receiving that stipend. Meanwhile he's living FAR beyond his means (monkeys are not cheap to keep, and neither are whales). If anything, he might have already been cut off because he seemed to mention that $50k "unlocking" millions (which might have been about investing it but I'm not so sure). It was repeatedly mentioned that he had "two reasons" for staying in the house.
I was mistaken - she actually went live last night.

In summary, the entire beef she had with Binx was scripted and for show. All the contestants fake everything to entertain the audience, and they're all coached off camera where we can't see. She holds no animosity towards Binx and you're dumb for thinking she does. AT THE SAME TIME they "played" her, "played" Alex, set him up to look like something was going on with Binx, wouldn't let her or Alex leave the house because production held onto her purse and his phone, tricked Alex into staying by lying they'd be back etc. etc.
In other words, although she has some level of cunning and street smarts, she's too thick to hold it together for 3 minutes to make a cohesive story. I guess her shitty manipulation tactics work on Alex, but it's all one big cope.
There is zero chance. They were doing the buying the house bit as a joke. Jet just talked to Mizzy about how the ogre couldn't afford door dash. Last night Sam was asking Alex if he was having money problems because the ogre was complaining about a checked luggage fee. They absolutely do not believe he actually has any money under his control. They (especially Sam) probably do feel legitimately bad for his situation because it is an honest to God DV happening right in front of their eyes but Sam couldn't put up with Alex's blathering for 20 minutes when he was trying to give him adviceThis opens the door up to the non-zero possibility that Alex becomes one of the Wiggers, perhaps the same potential/blind optimism that I saw in him is something Sam Hyde and Jet/Ben have also seen which is why they're talking about the possibility of him buying the house. The Wigger environment takes on what seem like generally unstable people or those with a non-corporate background and gives them some form of structure and a purpose in life (making outlandish comedy/content) and would or could be a real net-positive for Alex to be honest.
He really does wrangle carts for a grocery store. He said he recently recorded something and it might drop soonish but who knows.
He probably works that grocery job just to give himself supplemental income and something else to do while the paypig money comes in. Not a bad deal honestly but I'm surprised he can even get a day job considering his... reputation.I don't think he really works at a grocery store. He got doxxed and he lives in a really nice apartment complex.
It is possible that with the amount of money that fishtank raised in its investment round ($800k - given how this season turned out, I really, really wish that I had invested more) and also the scale of money that Sam Hyde has put into this show (they are using properties that cost $1m+) that key people like Frank are given a stipend. If they haven't reached that point already then they're probably approaching it depending on the financial outcome of this season.I wonder if he just works a shitty, easy job for the health benefits and lives off his paypigs.
Interesting. I guess just keep in mind if my theories and analysis seem totally off-base that it is really hard to tell what is acting and what isn't and is the show very often. When people write out what has been happening it makes it a lot easier to try and theorize stuff but much like anyone's speculation I could obviously be totally wrong. There is zero chance. So if I understand you correctly, outside of the people directly involved in this (meaning the person who has actually been hit) a "concerned citizen" could (and I am not writing this to suggest that someone does it, I am just interested in learning about this considering you know your shit) approach the police and say "hey I saw someone hitting someone, here is some evidence, please look into it" and the onus is totally on the police at that point on whether to do anything further (and then if that even happens it is up tot he prosecuter etc)?Am a lawyer, you are correct. "Pressing charges" is something gravely misunderstood by the public. First the police make an incident report (either by being called out, or on their own investigation). They can recommend charges, but even they don't get that decision. Their report is forwarded to a prosecutor, who determines whether or not to file charges. The reports are then redrafted to a "probable cause affidavit" that goes to a judge to decide whether, with the facts most in favor of the state, the affidavit meets the minimum for the charge alleged.
The idea of a random citizen being able to "press charges" is mostly just whether or not the prosecutor can count on them to cooperate as a trial witness. Nobody but the prosecutor representing the state has the ability to actually bring a charge against someone.
The issue Frank had with Jet wasn't that he wasn't featured enough, it was that all the funny stuff that people like about Fishtank was cut out of the episode to make room for Jet's terribly unfunny "poop detective" bit that lasted for 20 minutes. Not to mention that Frank's editor (who's REALLY good and can make anything hilarious) was originally hired to edit the Frank episode but he was suddenly fired because Jet wanted the episode to be more about himself and his shitty bit. It wasn't just Frank that was upset about this, it was the entire Fishtank fanbase that was rightfully upset about it. Fatty's boot camp segment wasn't even included in the episode despite the set up in the garage being included in the episode.from what has been seen publicly, there was a rift between him and Jet Neptune during one of the seasons because he wasn't featured enough in the final edited episodes
Yes. Anybody can report anything and bring what they have to the cops. At the cop level they could either say "fuck it IDC" or they could do some investigating and forward their findings to the prosecutor, who would also have the chance to say "fuck it IDC" before they decide what charges would be relevant, and then weighing whether they should be filed. So if I understand you correctly, outside of the people directly involved in this (meaning the person who has actually been hit) a "concerned citizen" could (and I am not writing this to suggest that someone does it, I am just interested in learning about this considering you know your shit) approach the police and say "hey I saw someone hitting someone, here is some evidence, please look into it" and the onus is totally on the police at that point on whether to do anything further (and then if that even happens it is up tot he prosecuter etc)?
If he does genuinely keep a very simple job like that then it very much throws out the argument that many lolcows have about being unable to get any form of employment due to their online history following them. Granted, Frank probably doesn't get "hassled" by his fanbase, but he does have what seems like a sizable number of people on plebbit and other sites who vehemently hate him and probably do try to harass him.He probably works that grocery job just to give himself supplemental income and something else to do while the paypig money comes in. In some states any mention of domestic violence has requirements for charges to be brought and an arrest to be made. Wisconsin is one of them IIRC. The DA can't even drop it iirc. Yeah I only mentioned that conflict very casually and didn't know about the editor being fired and the more specific stuff, so it is interesting to learn all of that. My own reading of it was that Frank was being extremely genuine, upfront and direct with Jet and Jet's ego from e-fame had distorted or negatively influenced his decision making ability. The issue Frank had with Jet wasn't that he wasn't featured enough, it was that all the funny stuff that people like about Fishtank was cut out of the episode to make room for Jet's terribly unfunny "poop detective" bit that lasted for 20 minutes. Frank was rightfully upset that Jet was not only ignoring criticism but was mocking it and had grown an ego the size of the actual Neptune so he called him a faggot, again rightfully. Jet has seems to have grown a bit since then and has realized Frank was right.
Ok, another question. In the context of domestic violence specifically, is it correct that some states have special ways of reporting DV and special protections just for that (outside of any actual charges that may be borne of that)?Yes.
There is zero chance of him joining the team. Can you imagine being trapped in a basement with Alex yapping away for an entire Fishtank season? This opens the door up to the non-zero possibility that Alex becomes one of the Wiggers, perhaps the same potential/blind optimism that I saw in him is something Sam Hyde and Jet/Ben have also seen which is why they're talking about the possibility of him buying the house. They did get him banned from doing doordash with their gayops discords. Wings has a lot more psycho A-logs that want to ruin his life for fun, unlike Frank. No one who is applying for a job pushing carts or for many low level jobs is going to get their name googled lol and if their name is common enough it doesn't even matter in the first place. But I do think there are cases with people like Wings of Redemption where I believe he tried to do doordash or some shit and got harassed out of it (I can't remember the exact details though)
She didn't like him last night either. She was annoyed at his white knighting and was trying to get him out of the room.Amazing how fast Mizzy joins in on the bandwagon against her white knight from last night. Truly a snake.
