I get what you’re saying & partially agree, though Dear John remains a top 3 contender when looking at Nicks view of himself, others, various relationships, & total worldview. Was a complete “masks off” moment, imo. It’s seriously incredible how many other extremely out there & fucked up things he’s done in the 8 months since that stream too.
SO MUCH STUFF has happened this year, that "Dear John" might actually fall out of the Top-20 at this point. I forgot it was this calendar year.
Also, Nick's thread has more than doubled even after winning LotY last year.
I can't even remember what Nick did in 2023 anymore.
I’ve been sitting here for the last 25 minutes rewatching the infamous Dear John stream, & it’s still as disgusting as the first time I watched it. Besides the fact that Balldo comes off completely non-credible, what fucking thing in his life ever aided him in thinking anyone (even the biggest tard on the planet) would find that stream relatable let alone humorous? You can tell that’s the vibe he’s going for while missing it by a very big chungus of a country mile. It’s still incredible to me (in a bad way) how Nick could ever think to say those thoughts & even more so, say them very publicly. He seemed to think it was way beyond okay, it was his warped as fuck idea of cool.
Just absolutely ridiculous how Nick refers to himself as “a YouTube streamer,” which he keeps repeating over & over during this rant to attempt to elevate himself more than John. As if the degeee of “fame” he reached made him unable to have sympathy or give support to someone. The class disparagements were sick, too. Most of Nicks wealth is his fuckin’ parents money yet Nick might as well be bragging about how rich his mom is while discussing how much better he thinks he is than an allegedly suicidally ideating, (ex) audience member, with whom he seemed somewhat regularly in contact with at the time. The entire premise of the rant was built on some wild bullshit fantasy of Nicks.
Redo of Balldo thinks he’s something really special, even more so than he thought of himself 8-9 months ago during Dear John. He’s trying so hard.
