Initially thought that Nick was referencing documents that we don't have access to, but since his claims are in reference the documents that KF was reacting to, this isn't the case. Also, he claims that the hearing "THAT DAY" was the first time he heard the words "orally" with nothing "shown to [him]" although he also claims that he "saw" the words . However, at said hearing, Nick references a petition drafted by the County that isn't referenced anywhere else in the hearing.

The Kiwis said the children were probably coached by Nick because Nick himself said on the hearing on May 28th (less than a week after the arrest) that:

"any testing of the children that would result in drug use according to the children would be because of secondary exposure form some other source."

This was prior to tests being completed on June 6th.



The tests weren't even completed yet and Nick felt the need to make this statement awkwardly at a hearing about Emergency Protective Care, and since the tests weren't completed there would be no need for the County to attribute secondary exposure to anyone prior to this (let alone hazard a guess that the children would have to be exposed by a source outside of a home where they found that much cocaine). It sounded like Nick jumped the gun.

It should also be noted that if Kristi Barber (who received the hair follicle tests) is the one Nick thinks coached any of the children, she had not begun her investigation at that point:

He may also think that the longer it takes for the case to go to trial, the more likely the prosecution is to drop/reduce some of the charges, and sometimes that does happen just to move forward to some kind of resolution. I suspect that the charge Nick specifically wants dropped is the child endangerment one and that may even happen.
