Binx/Payton win would be an absolute slap to the face of the fans. It says a lot when racists will cheer for a nigger to win while simps will gaslight themselves and everyone around them to think that either of those two women earned their place at the top. Let alone even tried.

My list of preferred winners is as follows:

3. Jobe/Mizzy somehow get the prize money

For the all-important Payton/Binx question,

I know Payton is nontent and in a just world she would have been removed from the show weeks ago for being boring. Arguably, Binx deserves the W more as a player of the game. Production does guard her against other players and TTS, gives her special treatment and half the time directly pushed her to make the moves she did make in the game. But, production tries to do the same for Payton except the girl is just dense as concrete and refuses to engage with it.

Even so, it would be a superior outcome for the santeria hag to take second to Payton if only to watch her suffer in that moment when final victory is denied to her. This would also rhyme with the outcome of S1, with an autistic nothing winning and a vicious crone taking second place.

Personally I think Jet actually intended for it to be a bit - one google search of Brandon would bring up the reason Trump painted a target on him - but Sam had to overreact, likely to overcompensate for the rumours about his own peccadillos. You can complain that they didn't automatically go "a child doing drag must be getting groomed, raped and molested" but surprise surprise, while many people may disapprove, that's not likely to be their first thought either. We live in an era where RuPaul's Drag Race is mainstream entertainment, and they deliberately cast a bunch of normies. It's just not reasonable to characterise how the Fish behaved as supporting child rape because they didn't know they were supporting child rape, couldn't do their own research and don't trust anything production says.

In that bit of candid discussion about the show between Luke, Ben and Jet iirc Jet didn't have much to say about Brandon at all but Ben expressed pretty strong disapproval. He congratulated Luke on how he handled everything, especially on his confronting Brandon in the confessional. Later in the talk, when they all are discussing the new batch of fish as a whole in retrospect, Ben said that you would inevitably get some of what they dealt with by casting normie actors. He begins to say they aren't bad people, but stops himself and kind of admits that they are bad people before Luke diffuses things by saying they're a mix of both.

It is my autistic speculation that Jet doesn't especially care about any of the Brandon stuff, but that Sam is far from the only one on the crew who were grossed out by it.

It doesn’t make sense that kicking everyone out after 3 days was the original plan, when you consider the costs of flights, day rates, hotels, etc. Not to mention the effort of actually assembling the cast.

I believe this was the original Famous House cast that they claimed they couldn't use because their lawyer sent them the wrong email. During his crashout, Kawan said something along those lines and most of them seemed to have heard of fishtank when it was finally starting to be revealed.

My theory is they had this cast for an additional 2 weeks locked in already and figured, fuck it, bring these people in, reboot Famous House, see what happens, its all a sunk cost anyway so why not?

As to what happened after, there was the Brandon freakout with Sam, but that only lasted a day. Jet claimed in the same discussion mentioned above that they kept kicking people off for dumb reasons because they personally found it funny. It really may be that simple. Jet has always loved the worst fishtank bits and pushed them past the point of being entertaining. Remember gang wars in season 1?

At the end of it all we end up with a final 4 going into the last week so theoretically they could still stick the landing. We shall see, Mr. Neptune.

It seems as if there's a bunch of people who would only be satisfied if the show was purely an echo chamber for their own opinions.

I get that Luke is cool, but I don't think he's particularly funny or entertaining. People seem to have jumped on him because "oh wow he is based just like me and says the n word!!". The only real "content" he produced was his hassling of Simbal. At least Jobe had some comic timing.

If you want to watch a circle-jerk of MDE-approved opinions presented in a dull way then there are already plenty of podcasts for that. At the very least a show like this needs different types of people for the contestants to bounce off of.

Binx is explaining that she wasn't expecting that this act would look like this so quickly, and it'd just be the final three messing with each other for two weeks. She's pretty sure there's nothing any of them would really be able to do to each other to make the others walk (since they all are completely looped in with what the game is now), but if she had to pick she'd probably aim for a Burt + Binx final two because Payton threw her under the bus with Kawan previously.

Fatty, who's gradually begun trying to get them to do more and more bits while acting out more (due to being bored) is struggling with the fact that nobody's really listening to him and mostly seem to find him vaguely irritating (besides Binx, who was singing with him earlier). He did some very mild hassling of Payton's stuff and is just roaming the house yelling and trying to find other people to annoy. He's yelling for Burt and Binx to attend Fatty Court, but as he's not production and Alex Stein isn't here, the Fish seem to be realising they can just ignore him.

I agree with you. However, they own this house, and it's convenient for them due to the guest house and large lot it's on.

A good compromise might be closing off the under-utilized parts of the house. The yard, flat, bar, and catwalk didn't get much use, so maybe put those places off-limit most of the time (except for special events), and concentrate on furnishing and decorating the den, lounge, kitchen, and bedrooms. Also reutilize some of the cameras and mics in these under-utilized areas around the island, kitchen, and den. The fish seem to like congregating together in the main part of the house anyway. They could close off the vents and turn off the lights in the unused parts of the house and save on heating and electricity too.
