Minecraft

I know i've posted a lot as of lately in this thread but this will be my final post for a while. I just wanted to share a really amazing lighting mod that fully implements colored lights for both shaders (MEGA BSL Shaders Only) and no shaders. Its called RPLE (Right Proper Light Engine)/Lumi, a colored lights mod that lets you customize what blocks you want to glow any specific color according to the configs. it even has dynamic lighting support. Oh and that's right, this year is 1.7.10's 10th anniversary so its fitting like a mod like this would be released.

Like the outrage over this dogshit never happened.
Then why the fuck do we need 4 characters who don't know what Minecraft is and need to have everything explicitly explained to them?
They probably wanted to do something somewhat similar to what Dumb and Dumber did with Game of Thrones, something about wanting to make their shit for everyone but the fans. In this case "we want the parents to be informed so that there's a higher chance that they'll become interested in Minecraft so there's a higher chance of them buying merch, for their kids or otherwise." The consoomers have arrived.

mods didn't like it and removed it I guess, I think it was a video of a guy getting mad at the george floyd screen in the quark mod
Oh yeah, I know that one, someone posted it a while back so you can probably find it if you go back a bit.

Minecraft really needs an update that brings a lot of the generated structures to the same level of detail and complexity as the rest. The Nether Fortresses are just a collection of fugly bridges and the ‘dungeons’ are laughably basic
Agreed. But the biggest problem they face right now is Inventory. They keep adding new blocks but have nothing to mitigate the clutter problem in the inventory. (I enjoy when blockvomit fags complain about it because they did it to themselves :story: )
If I was running the show and could do whatever here's what I would add to the game:
-Backpacks
-Increase the hotbar length
-A QoL ajustment for the inventory
-Better hopper style item filter
-Ruined/Delapitated structures
-More dungeon variation (Trial chamer is a step in the right direction)
-Item blueprints (Unlocks recepie upon obtaining permanantly)
-Early game movement item (like a grapeling hook, would help with cave exploration)
-Legendary weapons that only one of exist per world and maybe have some unique enchant (Kinda like the bane of pigs but less OP)
-Mobs that arn't almost useless
-More weapon variation (Daggers, spears, scythes, throwing weapons)
Im sure there is more but I cant think of them off the top of my head. Most of these things you can find in mods.
Personally I think that once Notch sold his company to microsoft, anything they made was doomed to be nothing more than a stale paste. Bland, sovlless, uninteresting, corprate board approved.

Block vomit?

Block vomit?
Pozloading anything you build (i.e. a house) with 10 different blocks to give it 'a gradient' while in reality it looks like shit because none of the materials make sense, ie. this:

Beauty in the eye of the beholder so the saying goes but personally I think there's beauty in simplicity and building out of materials that make sense.

One of the stranger yet interesting modpacks I've seen, Raspberry Flavor. Vanilla+ modpack but more trying to keep Minecraft as Minecraft rather than a completely different game. That being said it does have some interesting changes, from adding actual copper tools and making the compass more useful (you have to use it with another item in order to get your coords), to straight up removing major parts of the game such as anything related to Villagers and Illagers, what can be considered by most players as "essential" enchantments (mending, infinity, sharpness, etc.), to straight up deleting the end. There's some other things you can find out on the modpack page but that's basically the gist of it.
