Crying about independent testing.

I may be misremembering but didn't Jay basically cum in his pants cause Aero asked him/gave him a Lahar to test? He made it sound like it was the first time a manufacturer had actually acknowledged him.

Does he get paid for reviews?

So he charges to put things through testing and than will let the companies decide if it'll be made public a lot of the time. Unless it's something he is personally interested in, in which case he buy it him self for testing. Best example being the RC3 that Jay bought himself for testing, which SureFire wasn't involved with. He'll usually mention though if it's manufacturer requested testing or something he is doing himself.

I don't remember anything about the Lehar but I haven't looked into the silencer.

He does charge for reviews. Not unusual in other industries with testing houses like UL certification.

Griffin had a big shitfit on ARFCOM and reddit about what they were being charged vs. manufacturers. I've seen the owner claim Jay was asking for $280k to test an entire line. I've seen smaller manufacturers say it costs about 10k for 1 caliber & barrel length.

His numbers can be helpful but it is odd when science is "proprietary". Noone really knows what his testing methods are.

On my 5th can I really stopped carring about DB numbers. Size, backpressure, mounts are like 70 percent of the equation for me now.

Pew Science does factor at least back pressure in, I think he calls it the Omega variable or some shit.

My honest opinion is anyone who makes a faggot like Kevin seethe this hard must be doing something right.

I derailed the thread a while back ranting about the scummy nature of UK museums, and just how shit the visitor experience is to the Royal Armories in Leeds. Now this.

Even though Royal Armories is owned by the Public they assert their copyright over pictures taken in the museum by visitors (I'm still kicking myself that I lost the pictures I took of the exhibit on 'American gun culture'). They have a beautiful building but their displays are uniformly crap, a tiny fraction of their total collection, most of the halls are given over to shit dioramas and fat larpers .

Anyway I'm not surprised they did this.
I watched that this morning and thought immediately of your mention of them being pretty crap. I wish you had those pictures too.

Kevin is still cope replying to every hater.
He's now switched tactics to claiming that the southpaw is indeed a k can, stalker child.

For anyone that's curious the southpaw is 6", polonium is 5.8", and the polonium k is 4.8"
Andrew at Ottercreek is total opposite of Kevin and a nice dude. Back when he was Quelltech he heat treated some parts for me at no cost. Plus his stickers have always top notch.

Kevin keeps refering to the polonium as "a dog". The can is close to the same length and 0.3 ounces more in weight.
It's HUB compatible so it can take almost every mount on the market including Q's Plan-B.
It has a 300 round full auto string limit, so I am not sure where he is getting "not durable".

Fucking Anglos, if they can't take away your guns, they'll try to stop you from talking about them.

What a fucking idiot Kevin is.

It's really sobering that as horrible as the US copyright system is it's even worse everywhere else. It's like when you learn that truth isn't a 100% defense to defamation on most of the planet.
US museums and insitutions digitise their archives and post everything they can online. UK museums hoard everything and have fought attempts to digitise their archives or even make them more accessible. Despite the fact that they're 100% funded by the public. The Imperial War museum will charge up to £80 for a single print of a photo that's out of copyright, and by ordering the print you agree to a new copyright.

I'm still kicking myself that I lost the pictures I took of the exhibit on 'American gun culture'
I'm just imagining in that exhibit a life-size wax figure of "le mutt" holding a dripping Big Mac in one hand and an AR with a million attachments on it in the other, wearing an XXXL American flag shirt and cowboy hat in the entrance, a scale size diorama of a school shooting in the middle of the floor, and not to subtle twisted statistics of "gun violence" and people with gun injuries on posters all around, while the museum's tour guide eagerly exclaims the the clueless British people following him how proud he is to have free helfcare from the EnAitchEss and to not have to worry about skewl shewtins.

New FW in which Ian (kind of) finally admits the H9 was a piece of shit made by retards, then takes the Daniel Defense version out to the range...where it still has problems.
I'll stick with my pistols that work, thanks.
Oh hey look a shitty CZ-75.

Are we just cringing or did I miss something extra funny due to how washed out they made the pic look? Or are we roasting Ian for not getting the all black memo?
