So do you believe in alternate timelines being created when time is changed or are we always on the edge of paradox and numerous other bad stuff we can't even comprehend?

Also what are your favorite books, episodes, movies, etc about time travel and alternate timelines? Primer is good and it's one of the few movies where time travel is the subject and not purely a plot device. Just make sure to pause it if you have to do something because if you miss a scene then it can be easy to get lost since every bit of dialogue is important.
