Live updates: Brush fire burns in Pacific Palisades as Santa Ana winds blast Southern California - Live video at link

Ya it's always funny seeing shit burned down on the beach like uh you guys could have boats with pumps putting out fires and pumps going directly into trucks giving you an unlimited supply of water.

The cope of "well seawater can ruin hoses and pumps" or whatever excuses you hear is so pathetic since the other option is everything just burning down.

Truth is that this is 100% on the leadership at every level. You would assume that since CA has wildfires every year they would have a coastal fleet of ships positioned as soon as the fire started especially since it was clear the wind was gonna push it there hours before it did. While yes the actual fires in the brush and trees is going to much harder to fight a lot of the actual stuff that was hitting in the cities was embers or stuff pushed via wind that took time to even get burning I mean we saw how many people lose their house cause lol no water in hydrant when they are like <200 ft from the beach.

You had people save their houses by using a hose or water straight out of their pool + some basic fire retardant stuff off amazon imagine if the lesbian leadership had actually planned properly tons of stuff could've been saved.

Any update on how the fires started in the first place?
We'll never know for sure I don't think. Any that were natural causes we'll be told, since those are no harm no foul. But any that were embarrassing -- druggies setting them, wetbacks cooking outdoors, etc -- will be buried. In the end it's not the start of the fires that matters -- fires will happen, and wildfires in the area will happen. It's the massive, massive chain of incompetence bordering on outright malice that lead to the disaster.

Sadly, it doesn't look like the disaster was quite big enough to change anything. Newsom will suspend the regulations so his superdonors and elites can rebuild, but that won't be applied to anyone with merely a 4-5 million dollar home (sell it to Blackrock for $550k and move to Idaho, peasant). The mayor prints ballots to win her next election, the dyke fire department leadership gets punished maybe but is replaced with other useless females pretending to be competent, and California swirls around the drain for a few more cycles while Newsom pretends to be running for president in 2028.

Until that Magnitude 9 comes along, anyway.

Remember, you get good at handling the big fires by putting out the little fires. You get able to handle the huge disasters by how you handle the little disasters.

Does anyone think, based on how they prepared for this one, how they reacted to this one, they're ready for a big disaster? I mean a genuinely big disaster? Despite renouncing him, God does love the sinners of California. This was, ironically, a wake up call. Will they heed it, or will "the big one" coming in a few months to years be the defining aspect of the Zoomers, Alphas, and Betas?

I wish this had happened before the election.

Imagine.... IMAGINE. ..This causing California to go red simply because Dems made the donor class2

lose their homes.

Oh the potential seethe. WHY GOD!? WHY DENY US??
No guarantee it would flip California red.

Also having it happen AFTER the election destroys Newsom, before he can start using California to commit open treason against Trump as he starts his second term and destroys his chances to become President in 2028.

(Cue Vanessa Williams "save the best for last")

I was watching this earlier. It's from 1962. This shit isn't new. California always burns. Quite frankly they fucking deserve it.

My sentiments exactly.

Can we all just pause and stare at this image for 1 minute?

That shit looks like something from Doom Eternal.
if i had to explain to someone who wasn't American what LA is like, i'd show them this

Someone really needs to start photo shopping Godzilla into these pictures.

They are investigating but keep in mind some of these fires will probably destroy any clues. But they have good leads on several of them, but they are unlikely to officially report the leads until they turn concrete. Arson, accident, natural events and possibly electrical system failures will be likely.

They just won't make the claims public until they've got something solid.

What is terrifying is that regardless if they had a dozen trucks loaded with water ready to go at this moment, if someone or something was to start a fire in the right place, and they got to the blaze quickly (within 1/2 hour - 1 hour), it might still rage out of control due to the dry conditions and winds.

Having had personal experience with fires, I can tell you these conditions that exist are so dangerous, that a state of paranoia rightly will be over southern Californians regardless of their preparations. It would aghast some people to see how quickly a patch of bone-dry dry vegetation can in a few minutes, quite literally "explode" in front you your eyes - and I do mean "explode", you almost can't even see how it spreads, it sort of just kind of "appears" on the next piece of fuel and seems to spread with the air alone.

I fucking hate fire. It is utterly without remorse.

Apparently, despite half the city being on fire, LA's air quality is still better than that of New Delhi by a long shot, which kinda goes to show just how much the atmosphere has been trashed over there.

It was a doll you sperg. The shtick was she was a tanned beach comber, not a tranny taking it up the ass your schizo post describes. You really need to touch grass.
Going to assume you are a foreigner since you are clueless about the implications of Malibu Barbie and why she's hated.

Malibu Barbie replaced the standard "beach Barbie" design in the early 70s and became THE definitive version of Barbie of the decade and influenced all later Barbies for several decades afterwards. It was the equivalent of liking the Avengers but only being able to buy the abomination that is the Brian Bendis New Avengers, as Hasbro retooled the Barbie line to focus nearly exclusively on the Malibu Barbie subline. To the point that you could not find a regular non Malibu Barbie even if you tried for a decent stretch of time during the heyday, and was satirized in Adams Family Values with Morticia sympathizing with Debbie when she explains her start of darkness was caused by her parents buying her a Malibu Barbie instead of a regular Barbie

That’s a suspicious amount of Barbie lore and knowledge you get there fellow farmer!

Please mark off as appropriate:

“I am a woman (giggle!)” [ ]
“I am a flaming homosexual!” [ ]
“I am an autist, but not into trains!” [ ]
“I am a fag, but not gay, and I have a bachelor in American Sociology, specializing in toys and culture. Also autist!” [ ]

One I'm a faggot who collects toys including expensive as fuck 12 inch scale military figures.

Two, in high school, I often got forced into ISS (in school suspension IE detention) for fighting and cutting class and casual swearing. The teacher who ran ISS had a bunch of Barbie Collectors Magazines in ISS for us to read to keep us from annoying her, so I learned all about early 90s Barbie collector culture, which amounted to hating on all things Mali u Barbie and scalpers...

So, what's the current sitch on conspiracy theories? Why did TPTB burn down LA? Was it to remove Palisades early enough to replace it with an updated Smart City ahead of the Olympic Games 2028? Delta City style?
Was it to burn evidence for Hollywood child rape rings before Trump goes into office and fucks them all up?
I'm waiting for the left to start blaming MAGA and that it was a plot by Trump to destroy Newsom and punishing celebrities/Hollywood so they will not speak out against Trump like did in his first term.

Is this sarcastic or do they do due dilligence
Due diligence as it's a prestige prison assignment and a lot of inmates who do firefighter work for the state, once they get out, often get head hunted by actual fire departments the same way military police get headhunted by regular police departments.

The narrative is already taking shape that nothing could have been done to prevent or lessen the wildfire.

Even though there are receipts for every problem in LA in terms of resevoirs, broken fire hydrants, underfunded fire department, and everything else this will be shouted down as "not relevant." Even IF they had all those things the same amount of houses would have burned down.

This absolves them of responsibility, at least in their delusional minds. The next step is to make it the White House's problem. The Fed failed to fund us enough!

It's funny as I read the post I immediately thought of that film. Showed how good the comedy was that you don't need the deep lore to know the joke, but it adds.

Maybe a philosophical point, but I don’t think it’s even delusion. At best, it’s like, sociopathic blindness in service of self preservation, and total commitment to the narrative that it’s not their fault… but it’s not really possible to like, truly believe that it wouldn’t have helped if say the palisades reservoir was allowed to have water in it while it waited for a new cover.

Then there’s a blurring of the lines because if shit like that is genuinely dictated by EPA regulations, then sure, the federal government has responsibility. At the same time, California is like THE place that pushes the EPA to retard-maxx probably because of some homosexual disaster kink like bugchasing.

All reasons for California to be nuked, anyways. Arizona is the new left coast and I’m here for it

So now they also have incarcerated firefighters.

Surely nothing could go wrong here.
I’ve been following this thread and the slapfights therein since the fires broke out. I’ve seen all the footage of the skeletons of real people that were trapped by the fast moving flames.
Despite the lack of care for our fellow man that has been displayed in this thread by certain people, this video from Hassan is the most tone deaf thing I’ve seen in a minute. I honestly thought it was an old clip resurfacing from when people realized that CA was using inmates to fight wildfires.

The inmates are grateful that they can do anything that has meaning (and have a hot meal made with not completely expired food). You never have meaning in prison, but those dudes have it now. AND THEN THIS FAGGOT wants to talk to them about fair wages? Fuck off.

I hope Hasan’s house/studio burned and he opted to not get the rare and expensive fire insurance.

Edit to quote the post I’m reacting to

Watch as the death toll conveniently shoots up on the afternoon of January 20th 🙃
Well. Jan 20th from Jan 13th... It's going to be a week later, and if the fires are realistically completely out by today, that's a good seven day to call off all searches and just chalk anyone not accounted for as dead.
