What's y'all opinions of the Peace Creek unofficial Ed, Edd and Eddys sequel?

I like it, although I don't know how I feel about the melodramatic "indie movie" feeling it has, but the animation is great, and after the note the original series left on, I could see this being what the Edds would end up as.
Course it's not as good as the bro show (half joking)

It's one of his projects he's been working on getting made for a while, and frankly it sounded interesting to me, I'm sure we're not going to get graphic depictions of dog genitalia, or anything like that for furry perverts. Tartakovsky apparently wanted to make a ribald "adult" animated comedy that didn't rely on pop culture humor. I have some faith in the fellow, he's pretty much the only guy left in the US animation business who has both ambitions to raise the medium's stature in the public mind, and still enough clout to try and make things happen. It's also a shame we don't have more people with clout and ambition in the American animation biz.

I really don't. Genndy is one of the best animation directors out there for obvious reasons. However, his major weakness is that he is, at best, a pretty average writer. His comedy being a particular weak point with it being pretty hit or miss, and lately its been more misses than hits.
