Probably tough to get anyone willing to touch that codebase and its "design" which becomes more of a problem the bigger the game gets. Amazing that in 18 months of working on it 16 hours a day offstream that all that has been added to the game is a hashtag and quit button.

The real issue would be his personality. You can find some university students or fresh grads who could easily chug through this on the side and they'd probably have fun working together but when Mald comes in malding about really petty shit and demeaning them instead of guiding them properly to meet his intent then they would probably ghost him. A major hurdle for Mald if he pays someone else to do this is not being insufferable.

That's a clip from his only (surviving?) FF14 stream. And he's unsurprisingly shit at this game too (clicks abilities (with unlocked bars), single pulls trash packs, doesn't use mitigations, can't consistently "roll" his GCD, doesn't use mitigations, etc.).

The 2 characters he shows have pretty low IDs, so these are actually quite old, although it's probably impossible to tell exactly with achievements set to private (he does have the ARR preorder minion, so it's at least around 2.0, which matches the character age estimations):

Looking at the minions/mounts "collection" (and his "gameplay") I'd be very surprised if Mald did play FF for any significant amount of time though.

Abandoning your husband/wife during and after chemo/general cancer treatment is a suprisingly common story. It can be a complex issue from both parties but my bias against Mald leads me to believe that the worst is possible for him.

Yeah absolutely, but I was thinking in terms of her experiencing a lot of upheaval in life with Cancer recovery and her Father passing. She probably wouldn't go for a divorce at that time unless she was given a very good reason. However, thats just speculation.

I'm looking like a complete ass today. Based this off of @Pippa's Greasy KB 's earlier post, which looking now unfortunately seems to be "Trust me bro", and a Jason retelling of what sounds like an offstream event. However, I looked through Bearington (His Wow character)'s logs. He spends most of the tier to that point raiding with "Rally", which has 4 raid teams. Based on only raiding on Thursdays, he is in the 1 day a week, Thursday only "The Wipes Within" team. His last raid with them is on the 25th of October. Second to last was on the 17th/18th (Timezones being weird/they raided past midnight). Now, they got the first Seven bosses down with a few wipes. Eventually they get to the last one, Queen Ansurek. She has a funny tank mechanic, where basically she'll apply a massive healing absorb on the active tank. But she also does one where she injects them with a really strong venom that increases damage taken by 100%. Second tank needs to taunt her while the healers get the absorb off of the other.

Looking at the first pull he's in, etc until the last pull of the night where he's gone. Next night is a reclear of the bosses. They get to Queen Ansurek, do 4 pulls, and the nights over. Average guilds will raid for 3 hours, the main Rally team does so, so we can assume TWW team does also. 17th night is 20mins shy of 3 hours. 25th is a bit under two hours. Most of the other raids from Rally's TWW team are full three hours, which indicates he ragequit on the 25th. Looking at the logs, two of his deaths (1st and 4th) are direct results of him dying to the tank mechanic. He also keeps dying to threads, which is a positional mechanic. The 17th pulls has other things like him getting 1shot, rezzed, then dying to the next mechanic. It does look like his offtank is taunting at the right time though.

Looking at his Feats of Strength and Logs, his first recorded kill for Queen Ansurek (The boss they were stuck on) was the 30th of October. This is the same day that he swapped guilds, and couldn't/wouldn't have secretly been a Rally kill because their next raid was on the first (and it looks like that raid team had to stop for a few weeks to find a new tank).

This lines up with Pippa's post about it being a bit before the newest Hardcore realms release (Late October vs 21st Nov HC release). It lines up with what Pippa said about him butting heads over mechanics. They were failing the same mechanic over and over (I think only achieved a handful of phase 3 attempts), and there were a few deaths from the boss losing aggro and smiting someone. Then he does indeed find a new group and completed it (But that group already had a few kills and didn't really need Mald's strat). With Pippa's second paragraph, yeah it looks like he does mess up the tank swaps, and he is moving it weirdly which makes it harder to dodge some mechanics such as the liquify puddles and the silk blades.

I don't have much respect for programming streams since these are neither tutorials nor lectures, so the best you can get is talking with chat and half-assed code because of the lack of concentration.
Maybe he deserves some thorough analysis, but this is not really the point of this thread.

My theory is he's just milking Mald for views and he either doesn't know about the code worthy of a man with a gorillion years of expirience, or he doesn't care, or I'm wrong about him and he's just another fraud.
