Transformers general thread - Toy Robot men based on giant robots based on previously mentioned toys about said robots

I found my old Universe Hound, and it's pretty interesting, especially compared to modern figures, because they've clearly prioritized the alt mode to the robot mode. The robot mode has 10 points of articulation and won't stand up, but the Jeep mode is AMAZING, complete with a moulded steering wheel/dashboard, moulded seats, wheels that roll exceedingly smoothly, and suspension. My Legends-class Cybertron Megatron is the same way -- excellent vehicle mode, but low articulation and stability issues in robot mode. As someone who cares more about alt modes than robot modes, I'd be okay if they retvrned to this since these ultra-realistic vehicles are way cooler as robots in disguise. On top of that, the vehicle mode (of Hound) has some cartoonier proportions, which makes it feel like a toy!

Universe 2.0 was a messed up time for the franchise as they knew fans wanted updated versions of classic characters but were pushing bullshit "realistic vehicle molds only" garbage. Resulting in them making Galvatron a tank, Scourge a stealth bomber, before finally going "fuck it and giving Cyclonus his proper vehicle molds but with minor "realistic paint" on it.

Calling back to his cowboy hologram and alleged love for horseback riding, I drew Mr. Cullen with a cowboy hat. Very raw and not the best, but it's sufficient.

Racebent Matt Tracker, Gloria, and Sly Rax black, Hispanic, and Asian while outright refusing to use the actual fucking minority MASK characters who were black, Hispanic, and Asian

Retconned Miles Mayhem into one of the original GI Joe doll figures from the 60s

Had Black Trackers wife be alive even though being a single dad was critical to his character

Chris Ryall claiming they racebent Matt because "Hasbro has too many stupid blonde white guys and since Duke was going to lead GI Joe in tbe Hasbro verse, Matt must be black!!!"... Then outright proving this to be a lie because they then announced Scarlett, not Duke, was going to be the face of GI Joe in the Hasbroverse because she's a girl....

Having all the members of VENOM be didn't do nuttins who aren't evil, and only considered evil because of they are really good woke people whorefuse to conform to a sexist and bigoted society.

Oh and Rich Johnston of Bleeding Cool news calling people racist for hating Black Tracker.

Liokaiser has been funded, apparently thanks in no small part to international orders being opened. I'll probably jump on once it gets close to or passes the first tier for Deathcobra.

i just hope they fix the problem with one of the guys just being the back.
make him twist around and have a tab, it's far less distracting if it's a car.
at this point it will get at least to the first tier.

A third party will have to fill in that back gap. Would be nice to give Deathcobra better legs so he transforms cleaner but they didn't make disassembly easy for him. Hell I'd even take a new front and pretend that he's a Skorsky s-64 skycrane.

So what happened to these guys Jim talked about? Optibotimus' shit probably burnt down now. The others, I haven't heard of. Any veterans aware of these guys or their whereabouts after this shitfest?

Yolopark TLK Optimus incoming for me. Dude is one of my favorite designs. But I'm awfully tired of true and honest lady TF fans coping about it not being 'weird' to be into it. I don't hear this shit from anyone except e-thots and trannies. Is it insecurity on their part or what? Cuz it's stupid to see/listen to. Nobody cares and you're not special for liking a male-centric subject.

I recently preordered Way Studios Transformers One Optimus Prime bot and vehicle modes and Megatron bot and Vehicle. I'm hoping they do all of the characters. They're basicly station figures similar to the old MotU ones, but they'll look good on the desk.

Sean Long fell off hard after this, I don't think he ever recovered. Peaugh is still around. Optibotimus I don't know, I never followed him.

Sean Long got rid of all of his Hot Toys stuff last I heard. Still makes videos even though he said he'd quit a few times. He should have kept the beard, he looked better with it and hid his disgusting teeth and face.
