So I was feeling down today and, as usual, I go find some mentally ill people to look at so I can use their misery to distract me from my own. Then I stumbled upon this subreddit.

Honestly, I think there's a limit for the sympathy I can give to poons and detransers. They are victims of a culture that grooms them against womanhood, often deal with body dysmorphia and mental or emotional health issues, and deserve all the support in the world to find their true selves. They are often targetted as children, either going through or even pre-puberty, and sold on a lie that they know no better about. Yet, especially once they reach 18, it is often their imperative to go through with self destruction. You need to be an adult to sign off on a mastectomy, and unless they have groomer parents (truly the most horrifying of circumstances) it'll be them signing their names the minute they're able to.
But then I take a step back. Every TiF, at least today, is to some degree in on subjecting others to it - and therefore contributes to the grooming like a ponzi scheme. It's not entirely just Discord and other community things the farms watches, but in real life too. LGBT clubs on college campuses, rife with students trying to figure their identity out for the first time (often freshmen who just got out of abusive family dynamics at home) are home to pooners. When you really don't know what to think, you're susceptible to what others tell you - when a pooner tells a T&H lesbian that she needs to transition and isn't womanly enough, they often hear nothing to the contrary (aka nothing that affirms who they are - LGBT socieities are heavily built on validating people's delusions, and can be places far from normalcy). Sorry for harping on this point but I've heard stories IRL of this shit playing out and it bothers me to no end.
Besides that, there is still the alliance between TiFs and TiMs. Pooners will gladly play defense for their kin, as rapey, perverted, and fetishistic as they are, fundamentally betraying womanhood for the sake of being "in". That's not to say all of them do so, but subconsciously once the links form (ie, once transitioners acclimate with the trans "community" for advice and companionship) they do not break - unless the person breaks with the T entirely.
I support every detranser on this site for leaving the cult, obviously. But accountability still exists. Not identifying with the cult doesn't immediately rectify what they might have spread or believed before, which is why I support those on the site that share their experiences, how they got out, and actively encourage others to do the same. Stop the spread as Fauci says.
As I said earlier a lot of this goes on before the transitioners can even realize they're being duped. It's the greatest of all sunk cost fallacies, because the only true way out is in death.

I consider detransitioners to be pretty much Cult Survivors, the Transgender Movement is a literal Death Cult and their sacraments are body mutilation.
I remember reading a book years ago about a weird cannibal cult from the Delta (but mainly New Orleans) called the Celestines, that combined Catholicism with some really fucked up tribal shit they inherited from the Caribs (the original cannibal inhabitants of some of the islands of the Caribbean) that had latched onto the "take this and eat of it, this is my body/this is my blood" part of the Last Supper, amd decided that Jesus was a fucking cannibal who meant it literally and wanted his followers to eat themselves.

It is impossible to go overboard unless you are taking steroids or testosterone (similar drugs tbh). Even women who have hypertrophied their muscles to be quite large still look feminine. So I posted about this friend before in this thread, but long story short, she was convinced that if they transitioned to male they would grow taller. I ran into her recently, and despite being six years on HRT, she's still the same size.
A little more on this girl. She had a huge crush on this gay kid in her grade. He hated her, a lot. Which was understandable. She was really fucking annoying about everything. Mostly MCR. Well, that besides, not long after she started transitioning she would dress like him and make accounts on various platforms to message him.
When that didn't work, she'd stand outside his house at ungodly hours of the night a few times a week. That or get high and borrow other people's phone to call him. It got to the point where he succeeded in getting a peace bond against her. He got a sugar daddy in a different country, which he admitted that it was mostly to get away from her.
I won't say I understand it fully her actions, but it still gives me chuckle when I think back on it. She had a terrible home life, and while that's no excuse for the retarded shit she'd pull. I wonder sometimes if she would have faired any better if she had been given any sort of guidance at a young age.
