Pretty much. The idea of Chris being in a genuine, healthy relationship just doesn't make sense with everything we know about him. I think Flutter is a weirdo who, at best, seems to be enabling Chris's delusions and, at worst, like most people who willingly choose to latch onto Chris, has their own set of issues that make this whole situation even messier. Nothing about this seems like a normal relationship, it's probably just another chapter in the ongoing trainwreck that is his life. Even if they are actually into Chris, that just raises more questions about their own mental state.
That's the part I always found weird. If this were real, Chris would probably talk about her all the time. He's never really been that shy to talk about relationships that he thought had been real before. The fact that he's being vague or avoiding details suggests either Flutter told him to keep quiet (which is very suspicious in itself), or there's nothing actually going on, and he's just grasping at whatever attention he can get.
I doubt it's Chris himself that wants to keep the secret but who knows.
I don't think anyone is under the illusion that this is a normal/healthy relationship (hopefully). She reminds me of those girls who are really into furry porn or yaoi. She reached out to him while he was in jail (although I suspect they had online contact prior). They are like tandem degenerate spergs who linked up on their journies of living on the absolute societal fringes - that they happen to be the opposite sex naturally leads to it being a "relationship". If he didn't hate men so much, he'd probably have already found some freak friend online and they'd met up every so often to go to olive garden or something. Flutter probably does have a lot of very unhealthy interests and beliefs in common with Chris.
He may be engrossed enough into this saga that blabbering on the internet isn't important. It's been a long time since he's had one this detached from the internet - probably since Bob died. Having an IRL friend will do that to you. He doesn't even interact that much online anymore - it gets mentioned a lot how he's not talking about her, but he's really not saying much of anything anymore. And while he is retarded, he does feel stress when dealing with the internet (like the pregnancy mishap) vs. the positivity of hanging out with flutter irl or messaging her privately. Even the stupidest dog can be conditioned that way.
If Fiona has shown anything, this is very much a possibility. Some women REALLY are that insane and/or degenerate to even get close to Chris, regardless of anything having to do with him at this point.
Yeah, Flutter is obviously really fucked in the head. She willingly contacted a guy who raped his mom to get into a relationship with him. She also feeds into his delusions that he's Jesus Christ. She's a pretty horrible, fucked up person.
There was also that time he snatched a kitten from his mom (Reenacment) and stubbornly refused to give it back while the whole internet yelled at him to do so.

I see that more as a cautionary tale for how people should take any sort of juicy story surrounding Chris (especially after the stuff that already happened after BarbGate). The person who perpetuated that story did it only because he wanted to stroke his ego, and to "uncover" yet more stuff about Chris and Flutter, even though he knew the story was complete bullshit. Despite that, it lit this entire side of the Internet on fire and caused confusion.
